Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson is an Anodite Plumber, the paternal cousin of Ben Tennyson. Gwen has green eyes and short red hair held by a blue hairclip and wore sapphire earrings, an elbow-length blue raglan shirt with a cat logo, white capri pants, and white sneakers with dark blue stripes without socks. Gwen was portrayed as an intelligent, sassy and mature girl but was usually stubborn and smart-mouthed when it came to talking with Ben. Her quick thinking and good instincts gave her an edge in dealing with dangerous situations. Gwen possesses magical powers inherited from her Anodite grandmother Verdona. As an Anodite descendant, Gwen shares an innate "knack" for mana manipulation. Her powers are enhanced when given an excess of mana. Gwen can project mana from her hands in the form of waves and beams. Her mana beams can phase through the ground, as shown when hitting an enemy from afar. Gwen uses her mana as a laser to break free of restraints or cut through the ground. She can also fire mana from her eyes as a form of heat vision. Gwen can create a mana explosion by firing a blast of mana at the ground. With enough mana, she can send out a burst from her hands achieving a larger explosion.

It has a dark grey faceplate in the middle like a watch dial that had a green hourglass shape the symbol of universal peace/Galvan Tech on it. The faceplate is part of a cylindrical tower; when Ben selects his aliens, the tower will pop up from the base of the Omnitrix, and the hourglass would invert into a diamond and show the aliens' silhouettes. The band had an activation button on the side facing the user if on their left hand. The ring of the faceplate had four symmetrical lights that would glow with the hourglass symbol. Finally, the band had two rings of white tubing, that would glow green under special circumstances.

Max is a very brave man, having dedicated his life to preserve peace on Earth between humans and extraterrestrial life. Max is skilled in using a variety of Plumber tools and weaponry. He also has experience with some alien tech, such as Transporter Discs. Max is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and has been shown to hold his own against beings with powers. He is also a seasoned strategist; skilled at using the objects in his environment to gain an advantage in a fight. Max wears a white shirt, covered by a red buttoned-up Hawaiian shirt with a floral design. He has grey hair and blue pants, as well as brown shoes.
