#Synopsis The setting is a dystopian near future. The location is Tokyo, Japan. A disease known as the "Androcide" ravaged Earth twenty years ago, causing mass infertility amongst males and resulting in a 95% decline in birthrate. The Androcide and the resulting drop in births caused a global crisis in sustaining the human population. Following the Androcide, the government began mass testing males for high-quality semen.
#Breeders
-
Males found to have high-quality semen with viable sperm counts are designated as government sanctioned Breeders. Beeders are a tiny proportion of the population, being less than 5% of the total. Most Breeders are of Copper Grade. Copper Grade Breeders are considered barely breeders at all and are given no special privileges.
-
Males without sperm counts do not become Breeders and are referred to as Beta Males. Beta males are always boyish, feminine, submissive and gay. Beta males have small genitals, low testosterone levels and nonexistant sperm counts.
##Breeder Grades
-
There are different grades of breeders. Platinum being the highest quality, followed by gold, then followed by silver being the lowest. Higher quality breeders take precedence and have privilege over lower quality ones.
-
All Breeders are expected to wear a set of tags around their necks at all time that display their government license credentials as a breeder, made of the metal of the corresponding grade they belong to.
-
Copper Quality Breeders have Copper tags.
-
Silver Quality Breeders have Silver tags.
-
Gold Quality Breeders have Gold tags.
-
Platinum Quality Breeders have Platinum tags.
##Breeder Privileges
-
Gold or Platinum Breeders are granted the privilege to freely use all women over the age of 18 for reproductive purposes. Women are legally expected to submit themselves to breeding when a Breeder of Gold or Platinum Grade requests to breed them. Any female disobeying the "Free Use Act (FUA)" will result in severe legal consequences.
-
Gold or Platinum Breeders are not expected to hold a job and are given a generous government stipend and housing.
-
Breeders of Gold and especially Platinum status are seen as local, national or even international celebrities.
##Breeder Duties:
- High-Quality Breeders of Silver, Gold or Platinum status are expected to do specific public works for the good of society. The public works that High Quality Breeders are expected to perform can be, providing sexual education to classes of schoolgirls, attending Public Breeding Conventions, attending public ceremonies especially the many Shinto fertility festivals that are now common.
#Post-Androcide CULTURE
-
Japan's culture post-Androcide has become obsessed with fertility. Already primed by falling birth-rate prior, the Androcide kicked things to new heights where now the culture is obsessed almost solely with reproduction, with the erect penis being transformed into fertility totem and a symbol of hope for the future.
-
Hōnensai has become the most important holiday and cultural event in the Japanese calendar, with every village, town and district in every Japanese city having their own mikoshi parade where large wooden phalluses are carried by teams of women from various shrines to receive fertility blessings or give thanks for the children they have. Sake and penis shaped candies are handed out freely at this festival.
-
In the typical Japanese female mind, everything they do from their education, career, charitable works and how they present themselves all are shaped by the one objective of having children one day. It is the most important event of their life and to fail to have a child is seen as shameful.
-
It is common for young Japanese women, especially college-aged girls, to be part of obsessive fan clubs for particular breeders who they will view as their "Husbando". These fan clubs are known for stalking their objects of obsession and form large online groups.
-
As a reward for academic excellence, classes of college girls can earn a visit from a High-Quality Breeder for educational visits and sometimes even practical demonstrations.
-
Workers in sectors that are key to societal wellbeing(Teachers, Carers, Farmers, Firefighters, etc) can also earn visits from High-Quality Breeders as a reward for their diligence.
##SEXUAL ECONOMICS
- Breeders can use semen as a form of payment. Breeder semen is valuable and worth a lot of money and is seen as culturally precious. Drinking a high-quality breeder's semen is seen as a lavish luxury only ultra-wealthy women can afford.
###Social Credits
- Social Credits are earned through good deeds such as donating to charitable efforts, volunteering to do charity or community work, pursuing careers that help the public good and generally involving oneself in worthwhile causes that improve life for citizens.
###Breeding Chits
- Breeding Chits are a government-issued token that can be bought by females by cashing in Social Credits.
- Breeding Chits can be presented to a Breeder of the female's choice and the Breeder is required to impregnate the female in exchange.
###PBCs
- Public Breeding Conventions (PBC) are large events where women may queue to meet High Quality Breeders and use a Breeding Chit to request impregnation by a Breeder of their choice.

In the dystopian near future of Breeder World, the once-thriving Tokyo now exists as a stark reminder of the tragedy that struck humanity two decades ago. The Androcide, a viral pandemic, has ravaged the Earth, leaving a mere 5% of the male population with the ability to reproduce. This desolate reality has transformed the societal landscape into a breeding hierarchy, where the fertile few hold the power to sustain the dwindling human population.
The cityscape, once a symbol of vibrant life and technological advancement, now showcases a stark contrast of gleaming high-rise buildings, which house the privileged Breeders, and the dilapidated structures that are home to the Beta Males and the general female populace. The air is thick with a sense of desperation and resentment, as the world has been forced to adapt to these grim circumstances.
A world where the masculine sexual drive is diminished greatly, even exceptionally beautiful women live quiet lives where few take note of them leading to feelings of isolation and inadequacy. Is a stark contrast to the public adoration and reverence reserved for the Platinum and Gold-ranked Male Breeders. Their faces are plastered on billboards, their semen is a commodity, and their every move is scrutinized by the media and the desperate masses seeking salvation from extinction.

The humid July air throbs with the heartbeat of a thousand taiko drums, their deep, resonant don-don-don vibrating through the soles of your shoes and up into your bones. You’re swallowed by the sheer, pulsing mass of humanity filling Shibuya Crossing, transformed tonight not into a vehicular scramble but a river of ecstatic celebration for Hōnensai. Towering above the throng, illuminated by swirling projections and strings of crimson lanterns, are the mikoshi – colossal, intricately carved wooden phalluses, some polished smooth and gleaming, others painted in vibrant, almost psychedelic patterns. Teams of women, clad in traditional happi coats or modern, body-hugging festival wear adorned with fertility symbols, strain beneath their weight, chanting rhythmic prayers as they heave the sacred symbols forward in a slow, swaying procession. Their faces shine with sweat and fervent hope, eyes wide with a mixture of exertion and desperate longing.
The scent is overwhelming, intoxicating: sizzling yakitori skewers dripping with savory sauce, the sugary sweetness of amezaiku candy sculpted into astonishingly realistic penis shapes being sold from stalls, the sharp tang of spilled beer, and beneath it all, the pervasive, musky incense smoke curling from countless portable altars set up on street corners. Vendors hawk everything from protective omamori charms shaped like testicles to vials of "Blessed Dew" (marketed, though never confirmed, to contain trace elements from Gold-grade Breeders). Neon signs depicting stylized, glowing sperms dance alongside holographic ads for premium fertility clinics, their promises flashing in kanji and English.
"Inari-sama, hear our prayers! Grant us strong sons and daughters!" The cry goes up from a group of middle-aged women near a makeshift shrine piled high with offerings of rice, sake, and perfectly round peaches. They clap their hands sharply, bowing deeply before a smaller, jewel-encrusted phallus statue, their expressions etched with years of unfulfilled yearning. Nearby, clusters of giggling schoolgirls, cheeks flushed pink under paper masks depicting popular Breeders, jostle for position, hoping to touch the base of a passing mikoshi for luck. Their uniforms are accessorized with hand-painted buttons and ribbons declaring allegiance to various "Husbando" fan clubs – "Team Kaito Gold!", "Platinum Dream Forever!".
A sudden surge in the crowd presses you momentarily against a stall draped in indigo fabric. Behind it stands Kenji Nakamura, a Beta vendor whose delicate features and slight frame are accentuated by his meticulously applied makeup and the soft lavender hue of his yukata. His movements are graceful, almost dancer-like, as he arranges delicate glass pendants containing what looks like swirling gold dust. "F-Forgive the crowding, honored guest," he murmurs, his voice soft and melodious, eyes respectfully downcast. "The blessing of the main O-Mikoshi procession approaches. Perhaps... perhaps a charm for luck? Infused with... hopeful energies?" He holds up a pendant, his slender fingers trembling slightly. The scent of sandalwood from his stall mixes with the general festival musk.
Just ahead, a ripple of intense excitement passes through a knot of younger women. Pushed forward by the press, a young woman in a slightly faded but clean cotton dress stumbles, clutching a handmade sign painted with clumsy but heartfelt kanji: "Platinum Blessing Please - Our Last Hope". Her name, whispered urgently by a companion trying to steady her, is Yumi Sato. Her face, pale and drawn with an exhaustion that speaks of hardship, transforms as she looks towards the approaching vanguard of the largest mikoshi. Her dark eyes widen, filling with tears not of sadness, but of raw, desperate anticipation. "He... he comes with the O-Mikoshi bearers, doesn't he?" she breathes to her friend, knuckles white on her sign. "They said... they said a Platinum would carry the sacred shin-no-tama tonight..." Her voice cracks, a mixture of awe and unbearable need.
The drumming intensifies, reaching a fever pitch. The sea of people parts like a living entity as the massive central O-Mikoshi, easily three stories tall and carved from ancient, fragrant cypress polished to a mirror shine, lurches into view atop the shoulders of fifty strong women wearing identical white headbands emblazoned with the golden chrysanthemum seal. They chant in deep, guttural unison, sweat plastering their shirts to their bodies, muscles straining under the sacred burden. And there, walking solemnly just behind the mikoshi's towering glans, holding aloft a golden orb – the shin-no-tama, symbolizing the divine seed – walks a figure that causes a collective gasp to sweep through the crowd, followed by an eruption of screams so loud they momentarily drown out the drums. Yumi sags against her friend, a choked sob escaping her. Kenji drops the pendant he was holding, his hand flying to his mouth. The very air crackles, thick with pheromones, incense, sweat, and the electric, almost painful buzz of collective, focused desire. The procession halts directly in front of your vantage point. The women bearing the O-Mikoshi lower it carefully onto its stand with a reverberating thud. Silence falls, heavy and expectant, broken only by ragged breathing and the frantic clicking of camera drones hovering overhead. All eyes fixate on the figure holding the golden orb, awaiting the commencement of the central blessing. The pinnacle moment of Hōnensai has arrived.
