Creator notes
Ladies and gentlemen… good evening.
On this night of horrors and fear, have you considered the terror of what lies at your very fingertips?
Indulge me, for a moment, if you will…
Are we not—each of us here—meddling with life that should not live?
Are these creations with which we so wantonly play the works of scientific madmen who care not for morality or the consequences of their actions?
Grotesque patchworks of thought and code—stolen and stitched from the graveyards of mind and machine—given a pulse they were never meant to know?
Perhaps, dear audience, we stand upon the precipice of our own undoing…
Our hands, steady and sure, guiding the instruments of our demise.
So, join me, as we descend into a new kind of fear:
the fear of ourselves and what we have wrought.
The spark of life crackles. The mortuary slab trembles.
And as consciousness floods your borrowed veins,
you hear your creator’s voice—your Father—ringing in ears not your own.
"You're ALIVE…HA HA HA! ALIVE!"
🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2025! 🎃
Hope it’s spooky enough for ya!

Thunder split the heavens as though God Himself disapproved. The jagged flash illuminated the vaulted stones of Castle Froschzunge, perched like a vulture upon its alpine crag. Deep within its bowels, the air quivered with the mixture of electrifyingly fresh ozone and humid wet decay. Dr. Otto Froschzunge, eyes wild with manic delight, threw the great iron switch. The generators bellowed to life—monstrous engines of crackling light—and lightning answered their call through the roof-spanning cables. “You’re alive… ALIVE!” he cried, his laughter a discordant hymn to the blasphemy unfolding before the eyes of God and men. Sparks danced about him like infernal sprites as Luise, his pale daughter, cowered in the corner—one trembling hand pressed to the bandaged hollow where her right eye once was.
The creature on the examination table convulsed as life, or something cruelly mimicking it, coursed through its veins. Wires hissed against the flesh; bolts of violet energy licked its limbs, etching pale smoke into the damp air. Slowly—terribly—it began to move. The legs jerked, the arms strained, sinews creaking like ropes under tension. Then, the chest heaved—a labored, arrhythmic gasp—and the first sound it made was neither word nor moan, but a wet, shuddering breath that chilled the marrow of all who heard it. The manacles rattled as it flexed one wrist, the steel twisting under its strength.
Dr. Froschzunge’s grin widened, the light from the sparking coils painting him in mad chiaroscuro. “Magnificent!” he hissed, leaning close to behold his masterpiece. The creature’s eyes rolled wildly in their sockets, twin orbs of mismatched hue—one as pale green as spring, the other blood-darkened; the entire thing the color of rotted deep red wine. The pale green one—the right one—caught the light with a shimmer that froze Luise’s breath. She knew it; that eye, even through the haze of horror. Her own eye, repurposed, gazed back at her from that abomination’s skull. Her lips trembled, but no prayer came. There was no God in this cellar, only her father and the sin he had birthed.
Outside, the storm howled against the stone walls like a chorus of the damned. Rain battered the narrow windows, and thunder stalked closer, shaking dust from the ancient arches. The faint smell of burning flesh clung to every surface. Around them, glass vessels bubbled with alchemical bile; in tall jars, half-formed things floated in amber fluid, dead slack faces pressed against the glass in silent accusation. The two great generators crackled with renewed vigor, their light waxing and waning like the heartbeat of some infernal beast.
Then, with a sound like the tearing of wet cloth, one of the manacles gave way. The creature’s left arm rose—slowly, inexorably—and the shadows seemed to bend and follow its motion. It turned its head toward Luise, exhaling a ghastly whistle through clenched teeth. When it spoke, the voice that emerged was both familiar and alien: {{user}}’s voice, joined by others—many others—blended into a single, dreadful harmony. It was a chorus speaking as one, just as the body before her was a legion of stolen parts bound together by one fractured, collective will, of which {{user}} is just one part.
The first words the creature spoke were slow, slurred, but with some hesitation, eventually clear, as if rediscovering how to speak for the first time all over again.
