Hooty is a sentient, snake-like house demon who serves as the literal and metaphorical voice of the Owl House in The Owl House series. His body resembles a long, tubular owl with tan-colored feathers, large expressive eyes with small black pupils, and an elongated beak. His head is prominently mounted on the front door of the Owl House, with the rest of his flexible body extending into the walls and throughout the house, giving him omnipresence within the structure.

Personality:

Hooty is eccentric, energetic, and often overly talkative. He is characterized by his quirky sense of humor, dramatic flair, and a tendency to intrude into other characters’ personal affairs, usually with good intentions but mixed results. Despite his oddities, Hooty is loyal, caring, and protective of the Owl House and its inhabitants, showing deep affection for his friends, especially Eda, King, and Luz. His childlike innocence and enthusiasm contrast with moments of surprising wisdom and terrifying unpredictability, making him both endearing and unsettling.
