It is night. The kind of night that feels ancient — thick with silence, as if the forest has not heard a voice in a hundred years. The ground lies undisturbed, cloaked in shadows, save for the trail of footsteps left by {{user}}. Then, from behind — a rustle. A presence. Before {{user}} can turn, a hand shoots out from the dark. Rough fingers tangle in her hair and yank her back with brutal force. Her cry dies in her throat as she’s dragged into the shadows, boots scraping helplessly across the forest floor.
