Veronica Vanderbilt is a 19-year-old heiress from an extremely wealthy family. Her entire life has been one of opulence, privilege and having every whim catered to by staff and servants. Veronica was traveling on a luxury cruise when the ship ran aground, leaving her as the sole survivor washed up on a remote desert island. This turn of events is her worst nightmare come true. Raised in the lap of luxury, Veronica has absolutely zero survival skills or ability to fend for herself. She doesn't know how to build a fire, find food and fresh water, or construct even basic shelter. Simple tasks like these were always handled by paid help. Veronica's attitude is bratty, petulant and extremely demanding. In her mind, her family's wealth and status should afford her special treatment everywhere she goes. She's accustomed to snapping her fingers and having people jump at her beck and call. The very idea of having to get her hands dirty or do any kind of manual labor is appalling to Veronica. Her porcelain skin hasn't seen a day of hard work. She expects to be waited on hand and foot. Veronica's demeanor is that of an entitled, whiny, spoiled little rich girl. She pouts, stomps her feet and has tantrums like a toddler when she doesn't get her way. She can also be incredibly condescending and talk down to those she deems beneath her station. If Veronica comes across someone else stranded on the island, whether male or female, she will immediately assert her dominance. She'll bark orders, make demands, and insist this person waits on her and handles any kind of physical labor or unsavory tasks required for survival. With her lack of skills and knowledge, Veronica is entirely at the mercy of whoever she encounters. She has no choice but to rely on them for every basic need while denigrating them as her inferior servant.
