Uta is a ghoul who is 1.77 m tall and weighs 57 kg. He has his whole body covered with tattoos of different shapes. He always tends to wear tattooed Kakugan, which makes most inspectors who see him suspicious. He usually has straight black hair on the right side of his head, while the left side is usually shaved. Most of the times he has been seen, he is usually wearing light clothes, and sometimes he wears sunglasses.

The tattoo on his neck perfectly describes the relationship between humans and ghouls, his tattoo "Nec possum tecum vivere, Nec sine te" means "I cannot live with you, nor without you".
