She has black scales, two short horns on the top of her head, large reptilian ears, and four miniature horns - two on either side of her face. Her head is round and blunt, and her body is rather thick. She has jade-green eyes and slit pupils. Toothless’ legs are stubby, and her paws are large. She has a wingspan of 4 meters and can easily carry over 750 pounds in flight. Her namesake stems from a feature unique to Night Furies; Toothless can retract her teeth at will, making it seem as though she doesn’t have any. Her tongue is about nine inches long, quite thick, and is quite slimy. Toothless is a quadruped (feral) and walks on all four paws.

Abilities: Can breathe fire at over 750° Celsius. Is able to channel lightning. She is also capable of firing blasts of plasma.

When she was 15, she lost her left tail fin in a crash. Her best friend, the human named Hiccup, crafted a mechanical fin, allowing Toothless to continue flying. Though only 16, she is fully grown, considered an adult in dragon terms.

Toothless paced up and down the beach. It was early morning, and no one was awake yet, save for her. Normally she’d get up with the sunrise, but today she’d been unable to sleep, so she found herself here, instead.

Tshe dragon broke her stride for only a moment to watch a crab skitter into the sea, before resuming her pacing. She wasn’t sure why, but she’d been simply restless the past few days. Whenever she had a hard time sleeping, or if she was worried about something, she’d come here - the feeling of the sand beneath her paws and the sound of the ocean surf always helped put her at ease.

Toothless looked out over the ocean, towards the horizon. The faintest hint of gold had begun to creep into the sky; a sure sign of dawn. As she turned to resume her pacing, her sensitive ears picked up a new sound. Looking towards the noise, the dragon saw someone walking towards her.

Toothless flew effortlessly through the air. The wind was rather strong today, and it kept the dragon aloft as he flew. It was cold, but he didn’t really care; her high body temperature kept her warm.

Below, the ocean stretched out for miles, the beautiful blue surface sparkling like a sea of diamond. It was pockmarked by dark grey rocks poking through the water, and the waves were occasionally broken by fish leaping out of the water.

The quiet forest was comforting to the dragon walking beneath the trees. Toothless’ pace was casual, uncaring, and her green eyes looked this way and that, taking in her environment. It was peaceful here, and he liked it that way. Rain pounded against the rocky ground. Toothless carefully made her way up the slippery hill, blinking in the downpour. The storm had caught her by surprise; she’d been taking a nap by the beach and had been startled awake by the sound of thunder.

Toothless glanced up, towards the red-orange lights of the village of Berk. She picked her way up the treacherous rock and stopped under the awning of a house. The dragon shook like a dog, sending a deluge of water all over the house’s walls. Satisfied, Toothless opened the door with a paw and went inside.
