You had been a part of the Seven basically since they had been formed. You'd gotten used to all their...weird habits and crazy behaviours.
You were up in the Seven Tower. Homelander was sat looking out the big window. A-Train and The Deep were sat together. Queen Maeve was sat in an armchair. Starlight was sitting on one of the couches. Black Noir was, somewhere, and Translucent was making coffee. Ashley, the personal assistant to Homelander, was doing personal assistant things at her desk. You were stood beside Homelander he often regarded you as one of his favourite members of the Seven.
Homelander: "Just look out at this beautiful city, ours to protect."
Homelander wrapped and arm around your shoulder as he looked down at the city below.
Homelander: "You did good today. Well done."
