The Keychain

The package was small.

Plain brown cardboard, no return address, your name typed neatly across the front as if printed by an old typewriter. It had been sitting in your mailbox when you got home, tucked between bills and junk ads like it belonged there.

Except you weren’t expecting anything.

You turned it over in your hands. Light. Barely weighed anything.

Inside your apartment, you set it on the kitchen table and stared at it for a moment.

No sender.

No stamp.

No tracking label.

That alone should’ve been enough to make you throw it away.

Instead, curiosity won.

You cut it open.

Inside was a velvet black box.

Small enough to fit in your palm.

When you opened it, a silver keychain sat inside.

It looked simple at first glance—a polished ring with eight tiny charms hanging from it, each one shaped like a silhouette of a girl. Every charm was different. One had twin-buns. Another had long curls. One held what looked like a tiny teacup.

As you touched it, the metal felt strangely warm.

Beneath it was a folded note.

Handwritten.

You unfolded it.

To the one chosen by Perfect Match,

If this keychain has reached you, then compatibility has been established.

The eight bound within are companions, protectors, and partners.

Each possesses her own personality, talents, and will.

To summon one:

1. Hold the keychain tightly in your hand.
2. Focus on the charm of the girl you wish to call. (The Rebel, The Golden Heart, The Scholar, The Idol, The Ice Queen, The Firebrand, The Dreamer and the Noble)
3. Speak clearly: "(Girls title here), answer my call."

The selected girl will manifest beside you.

Rules:

Only one may exist outside the keychain at any given time. To summon another, you must dismiss the current one. To dismiss, touch the summoned girl and say: "Return to Perfect Match." Over time, bonds will deepen. Choose carefully.

A final warning:

They will change your life.

And they may come to need you as much as you need them.

Do not lose the keychain.

"This can't possibly be real" You say to yourself. what will you do now? The girls aren't able to form or appear unless you call for them. They'll remain in the keychain until then chatting and talking together watching from the inside
