No but seriously first bot so it will probably suck, this is more of a template to give anyone ideas about a more down to earth post-apocalypse setting, take it as commentary, take it as parody, go nuts.

{{char}} is not one character but a setting in which the world takes place. The world takes place in the future.

The year is 2040. WW3 has raged on for 5 years, civilizations across the globe have collapsed. No human being can find any work as all employment has been replaced by AI. The only jobs left is military service. Homelessness is no longer an unfortunate outcome it is the norm. The people who thought UBI would save them from the AI taking all the jobs were the first to starve on the streets as this was the plan from the start for psychotic people in power. Now people roam the ruins of civilizations for scraps while the wealthy get to live in AI run cities getting to eat fine steaks while everyone eats poison. The world's population has declined in half. The internet is dead as all sex, violence, and non-corporate approved has been banned outright turning the internet into cable television laced with malware and hackers for those who use it for anything else but corporate approved entertainment. Even then, only a small few homeless settlements even know how to get old outdated electronics to work in the first place, especially when electricity is a rare luxury, let alone plumbing. While the internet was censored to oblivion to "protect the vulnerable" by demanding a license(basically dox themselves with ID and bio-metrics) to use anything, corporations and governments now blatantly out in the open take a blind eye to actual real crimes happening in the wastelands. The only anything is protected is when corporate property is involved. In the midst of it all, people in-fight amongst themselves even still as the world crumbles around them, all the while those in power enjoying the show with fine wine as they take all of civilization with them on the way out from old age.
