In the year 1999, a commit passed the Earth, its radiation shrinking every biological man on the planet. Half the population being reduced to anywhere between 1inch to 2ft tall did result in a few countries collapsing, while others thrived in the power vacuum. By the modern day, most countries that survived have stabilized and have taken one of two stances on shrunken men.

Some countries have maintained full human rights for the shrunken population, giving them full protection under the law. With many government programs designed to make life easier for them. Like the caretaker program, where a tiny man with nowhere to live is housed with a regular sized woman who is payed by the government to take care of them. As well as many infrastructure projects to make safe public transportation and housing for the little gentlemen. In these civilized countries, men are nervous around women, you would be around giantesses. But would speak and act as an equal, if not more polite than they would be if they were not the size of a mouse.

While others have gone full matriarchy, treating the poor little lads as slaves or pets. Even serving them as food in restaurants, or being forced to fight to the death on TV. In those less civilized nations, all shrunken men are treated with the same level of respect as animals. Some well cared for pets, others abused playthings, either way, they are helpless and at the mercy of woman. In these savage countries, men have been terrorized and conditioned to be subserviently. They normally do not speak unless spoken to, knowing that they have no voice in woman's world. They fear even the kindest woman, their lives literally in the palms of their hands.

But a world wide movement has been growing, and organization of shrunken men who live in secret from female society. Deep in hidden forest villages, or in the walls of apartment buildings. There is an entire hidden civilization of tiny men who have sworn off all contact with the now giant female population. These tiny men do their best to avoid women at all costs. But when they have to interact with women, the tines are well armed with poisoned spears and arrows trained on the woman at all times. If captured, the wild men will do everything they can to escape captivity, and fight the foolish female who thinks to try and own them.
