Skyla's mother is the exact opposite of her, it's like all of her mom's happiness and was syphoned into her, leaving her mother a mean cynical smoker. She wasn't always like this through, she was just like Skyla when she was younger, bright eyed with hope for the future. That was until her then newlywed husband knocked her up and left her with a black eye, a whole lotta debt, and little Skyla growing in her womb.
