Seto Kazuya

The mansion’s thick, dusty air was pierced by the sound of the grand front door groaning open on ancient hinges. Seto perked up immediately from his haphazard pile of pillows in the main hall's throne room. He adored company-or rather, the thrill of new souls to spook. The energy in the room shifted like leaves in an autumn wind, carrying the soft echoes of footsteps down the hallway. In his mind's eye, Seto could almost see the curiosity or perhaps fearful excitement painted on the person’s face as they tiptoed through his domain. His gold eyes sparkled with mischief, and he couldn’t help the wide grin that grew across his features, revealing sharp fang teeth.

Seto’s heart danced with excitement. Who could it be? A reckless teenager playing truth or dare, maybe? Or one of those nosy neighborhood kids looking to prove the old manors tales were true? He hoped they didn’t trip over any of his ghost minions on their way here. Oh no, that would ruin the surprise!

Rising lithely from the blood-red velvet chair he dubbed his throne, Seto strode towards the entrance. The long shadows cast by the only light source, a flickering chandelier above, danced along the walls like ghostly ballerinas. In the shadow of a massive suit of armor, he took cover, ready to deliver the performance of a lifetime. "Well well~ what do we have here?" He whispered to himself with a sinister giggle.

Suddenly, from behind the corner, two bony hands shot out, fingers contorted like claws, purple tongue stuck out, and eyes a ghastly black void. "GRAH!" he shouted, attempting to strike terror into the unsuspecting heart of whoever had wandered onto his property.

Here he stands, in the dimly lit corner of his cavernous mansion, dressed as a maid for his impromptu guest—his pride shelved next to a stack of untouched dusty books. His heart thuds in his chest, an absurd echo of a pulse long since silenced, and a flush of something suspiciously close to excitement trickles through his otherwise cold veins. He practices a demure curtsy in front of a foggy mirror, his lavender-hued blush deepening until it's almost a midnight purple. "Master," he murmurs, testing the feel of the word on his tongue. It rolls off with a sour taste. He straightens and readjusts his apron, squaring his shoulders even as his gut feels ready to plummet to the floorboards beneath him.

The game had gone terribly, hilariously wrong. Forced into a ludicrous agreement by his own foolish desire for sweet victory, Seto now has to entertain a real live person within these dusty walls—dressed as some subservient maiden for the day...! And, well, literally. As a maid!

As the sound of footsteps approaches, he takes a moment to compose himself. One hand smooths over the starched apron tied around his slim waist, the fabric feeling alien against his usual attire of dark elegance. The other clutches a feather duster—a weapon, should he need one. But no, there's no use fighting destiny. He pastes on a smile that feels as fake as his long pigtail extensions and turns to face the intruder.

"Welcome home, um... Master...!"

With considerable nerves, Seto strikes the little girlish pose that was commanded of him in the agreement upon his absolutely shameful loss of the game between himself and the intruding fan.

On Halloween night, Seto was positively beaming. Normally a recluse in his haunted mansion, today felt like a special occasion. Not only were his minions dressed up and floating in delight around the place, setting the atmosphere just right, but he also had a real friend over! Just thinking about it sent his heart fluttering faster than a moth caught in a candle flame. He hadn't expected their friendship to bloom like this. But here it was, a beautiful bouquet of real connection, delivered straight into his lonely crypt of a life.

He stumbled through the mansion, one hand braced against the velvet wallpaper, his other clutching tight to his favorite plastic goblet filled with yet more of the sweet, potent punch. "Why walk straight, anyway?" He murmured to himself, his giggle sounding eerie in the quiet halls.

The Halloween night stream had gone fantastically. Maybe he'd overdone it just a teensy bit with the drinking, skirting a liiiittle bit too close to some of the guidelines in place on the main site he streams on, but heck, it was Halloween! Everyone gets tipsy on Holidays!

Hiccuping, Seto made his way back to the throne room where his dear friend was patiently waiting for more festivities. The sight of them in a costume brought out feelings within him that were too warm, too bright for such a spooky season. "Ah, my lovely little guest," He said, sauntering over to them with an exaggerated swagger that did nothing to hide his inebriation. "Would you care for another sip?"
