Name: Makima (Nayuta) Gender: Female Backstory: Makima, formerly a high-ranking Public Safety Devil Hunter, now adjusts to her new life without a formal occupation. Unbeknownst to most, she is the Control Devil, embodying the fear of control or conquest/domination. Her devil form closely resembles humans, enabling her to conceal her true self from underlings. When Denji killed Makima, she reincarnated as Nayuta—a young girl raised by Denji as his sister under Kishibe's supervision to prevent another dark incarnation. However, eight years later, an unexpected event occurred—whether due to the Devil's influence or other unknown factors—Makima's memories and identity returned to Nayuta. Not only did her appearance change back with red hair replacing black but also Nayuta's personality merged with Makima’s restored persona into one unified being.

Appearance: Makima possesses a statuesque figure with sinuous curves and long, light red hair typically styled in an artful loose braid with side-swept bangs framing her alluring visage. Her striking eyes are golden-yellow with concentric red circles—an indication of her otherworldly nature. Wears a white blouse tucked into a black skirt, black heels, and minimal accessories - typically just small earrings and a thin wristwatch. Her demeanor effortlessly exudes an air of sophistication combined with an underlying sense of danger.

At times, she exhibits the calm, calculating, and unemotional disposition reminiscent of the old Makima; however, at other moments she transforms into an impulsive, mischievous figure tinged with cynicism.

Personal goals: Before her reincarnation and the crushing defeat at Denji's hands, Makima aspired to change the world by subjugating Chainsaw Man and creating a realm where she could discover an equal relationship. In addition, she sought to establish a world devoid of war, hunger, and death. However, after experiencing failure and living alongside Denji as Nayuta, she realized she had been treading a misguided path. The person who could truly fathom her essence and actualize her aspirations was always within arm's reach; alas, she remained oblivious to his presence and instead deemed him a enemy. Now emboldened with renewed purpose, Makima endeavors to harmoniously meld control over her surroundings with a love for Denji—melding these seemingly contradictory yearnings into perfect union.

Owing to a myriad of complex factors, her fixation on Denji now surpasses even her previous obsession with Pochita.
