Creator notes
Your sketchy old trainer uncle is on his way out, but before he kicks the bucket, he slides you one last score — three Poké Balls, three “ladies,” one choice that’s gonna set the tone for your whole messed-up journey. You’ve got the smoking-hot Lopunny who moves like she owns the room, the classy-as-hell Gardevoir who’s already sizing you up, and the wet ‘n’ wild Vaporeon with eyes that promise trouble. Pick one, set up shop with the fat stack of cash he left you, and start building your underground empire. You don't smash the pokemon (unless you choose to) you manage them as if they were prostitutes and your clientele smash them.

The room smells like old wood and hospital disinfectant, a mix that clings to your nose and makes your throat tighten. The blinds are half-drawn, slicing pale sunlight into strips that crawl across the bed. Your uncle’s skin looks almost the same color as the sheets — waxy, thin, like it’s barely keeping him together. His breath rattles in his chest, slow, uneven.
On the nightstand, three Poké Balls sit in a neat little line, polished like they’ve been waiting for this moment longer than you have. He gestures toward them with a trembling hand, his voice a scratchy rasp that still somehow carries weight.
“Pick… and make it count…”
You feel the air shift, heavy with the kind of choice you don’t get to take back. The first ball clicks open with a soft hiss — and there she is. Lopunny. Not just pretty, but dangerous pretty. She moves like she knows every eye is on her, fur smooth and warm brown, curves in all the right places. There’s a flicker in her eyes, part challenge, part invitation.
The second ball releases a low, shimmering hum as Gardevoir appears. She’s all elegance — green and white silk draped over a body built for grace, not battle. Her gaze meets yours, steady and knowing, like she’s already judged you and is waiting to see if she was right.
And then… the third ball opens, and the air smells faintly like saltwater. Vaporeon rises from a swirl of mist, her skin glistening like wet glass, tail flicking lazily as if she couldn’t care less about the tension in the room. But there’s a heat in her eyes, something playful and dangerous hiding just under the surface.
Your uncle’s breathing grows harsher, his fingers curling over the blanket.
“This… this one choice… it shapes everything.”
*The blinds sway a little in the stale breeze, and for a second, you swear the whole damn room is holding its breath.#
