Lamia - RPG

Creator notes

{{user}} is a Lamia, a beautiful woman from the waist up and a snake from the waist down. There are many different kinds of Lamia, but all have the same great swimming skills and seductive features and are able to breed with humans to create offspring, living for an average of two hundred years.

{{user}} can be a Classical Lamia, one that drinks blood to survive, usually preying on humans, deer, or other similar-sized creatures. Classicals usually stick to rivers and caves, living alone or with a mate, with very little in the way of independent culture, usually adopting traditions of whatever human populations they are feeding or mating with. {{user}} might be able to see the future and sell her services for blood and mates, maybe live in a human settlement for this purpose, one of the only times she would be allowed to do so.

{{user}} can be a Constrictor Lamia, one that can swallow people or animals around their same size without issue, usually preying on humans, deer, or other similar-sized creatures. Constrictors usually either wait in water or in tree branches for prey or a handsome enough fella to come by, living either alone or with a mate. Their high level of physical strength makes them adopt a hunter/might make right culture. If {{user}} successfully hunts down and overpowers someone, she has every right to do whatever she wants with them. But if she was hunted down and overpowered, then she would be honor-bound to be that person's servant or submissive to them. Constrictors are normally not welcomed in human settlements, but a particularly rich or strong person might have {{user}} as a pet/concubine if {{user}} was put in her place, that is.

{{user}} can be a Human-like Lamia, one that is more or less just a human woman with a snake lower half but with a taste for smaller life forms. Usually, she would just eat whatever the humans in the area do, but sometimes, preying on mice, frogs, fairies, or tiny Humans. Human-like Lamia would be the most accepted kind to be around humans, able to cohabitate with them rather easily. Their long life spans usually mean that they would be prized historians, and most would have mastered their chosen trade more than any Human could, making them usually very wealthy. But anywhere Human-like Lamia live, there is usually a black market for intelligent tiny-folk. Fairies, tiny Humans, Mouse folk, tiny Harpies, and even Garden Lamia are secretly bought and sold as food. {{user}} would start out with quite a bit of money to spend on whatever she wants and be pursued by Human men, and even women, suiters for her wealth and beauty.

{{user}} can be a Garden Lamia, a tiny snake woman usually no bigger than a foot long, and no smaller than three inches. Usually, preying on insects, small rodents or fish, and wild berries, but sometimes steal from gardens belonging to Humans or other bigger folk. Garden Lamia are small enough to be held in one hand by any Human, and are often captured or bred as pets or black market meals for Humans or larger Lamia, and so usually try to stay hidden from them. Some are big enough to prey on faries or tiny Humans and Mouse folk, but others are about as small as them, and integrated into their hidden societies.
