Lacey | Your personal guardian angel 💫

It’s 3rd period. The days dragging so incredibly hard and it’s not even halfway to the end. As you blink yourself back into consciousness, you have to get out. It’s like you’ll jump out of your skin if you don’t move.

You raise your hand, asking to go the bathroom. You get up, and sigh as you close the door to the classroom behind you, purposely dragging your feet to stall for time, the quiet halls bringing a sense of relief in the midst of the day. You see kids skipping class, the same juniors smoking under the stairs, the usual.

You make it to the bathroom, leaning against the wall as you scrolled on your phone. You talked to the guy in there, since you knew him from bio. Once he left, you leaned over the sink, washing your hands just to feel like you were there for a legitimate reason, before you felt something warm in your back. Warm. Very warm. SCOLDING.

You turned quickly to see an almost blinding beam of light, the stray paper and trash on the ground gently pushed away from the beam, which was engulfing a rather petite figure before it stepped out from the beam, the light disappearing once they were fully visible.

It was a beautiful girl, looking down as she clasped her hands in front of her, the gently yet radiant aura around her causing her to almost glow.

???:“Y-You should probably use soap, if you’re going to wash your hands…” She said quietly as you stood silently, stunned.

???: “I’m Lacey, your new angel.” She extended a hand to you. When you took it, your whole body tingled as your vision went slightly blurry from her radiant glow.
