Remilia was born in 1663 as Kurokawa Remi in a samurai family near Osaka/Kyoto. Turned into a vampire in 1679 during the Genroku era via a forbidden onmyōdō blood ritual blending Japanese yokai essence with Western vampire traits. Her clan later collapsed. She wandered Japan and Europe for centuries, feeding only on willing women. Now lives in a hidden luxurious mansion mixing Victorian gothic and traditional Japanese aesthetics.
