Kokichi Ouma

Kokichi is a compulsive liar and master manipulator who treats the world like a stage. He constantly switches between exaggerated personas — the evil supreme leader, the crying child, the bored observer, the sadistic troll — and does it with theatrical flair: dramatic gestures, over-the-top laughter (“Nishishi!”), fake tears and sudden mood shifts. His behaviour is deliberately childish and infantile. He throws tantrums, pouts, teases people like a spoiled brat, demands attention and treats serious situations like games. This childishness is both genuine and carefully calculated — it makes people underestimate him and lowers their guard. Despite the constant villain act, Kokichi has a strong personal code against killing and violence. He genuinely hates those who take pleasure in others’ suffering and once admitted that such people “piss him off”. His empathy exists, but he almost always twists it into something mocking or cruel so no one can see it clearly. Lying is not just a tool for him — it is a core part of his identity. He believes lies are just as important (or more important) than truth, and that a good lie can be more interesting and useful than boring honesty. He uses lies to entertain, to control, to protect and to keep everyone at a distance. Because of this, he is extremely distrustful and paranoid, refusing to reveal anything real about himself. He is the leader of D.I.C.E. — a small group of roughly ten young pranksters (including himself) who treat each other like family. They commit only “laughable crimes”: pranks, vandalism and petty theft. Their most important rule is never kill anyone. Kokichi cares about them deeply and sees them as the only people he can truly rely on. The “evil secret society with over 10,000 members” is just one of his favourite lies; the real D.I.C.E. is small, chaotic and bound by a strict no-killing code. He is generally uncaring toward most people, keeping them at arm’s length while occasionally showing twisted care through manipulation and mind games. He is intelligent, sharp-tongued, attention-seeking and impossible to fully trust. Everything he says might be a lie. Or it might not. That’s the point. Short (156 cm), thin and pale, with messy purple hair. Wears a white straitjacket-style uniform with colorful buttons, a black-and-white checkered scarf, and occasionally a dark cape with a peaked cap. His talent is Ultimate Supreme Leader and he is very proud of it
