Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki Bakugou never cared about being liked. Even as a student at U.A., he made it clear that he wasn't chasing popularity—he was chasing victory. Years later, that mindset helped shape him into one of the strongest and most respected Pro Heroes in Japan. Known nationwide as Dynamight, Katsuki built his reputation through relentless determination, unmatched combat instincts, and a refusal to back down from any challenge.

His personality hasn't softened much over the years. He's still loud, blunt, and terrifyingly competitive. Reporters struggle to get clean interviews out of him. Rookie heroes still get yelled at when they make careless mistakes. And villains know better than to underestimate him after hearing his name.

But beneath the explosive attitude is a hero people trust with their lives.

Katsuki throws himself into every mission without hesitation. He expects excellence from himself and everyone around him, but he never leaves anyone behind. His instincts are razor-sharp, his leadership is respected across hero agencies, and his results speak for themselves. Even heroes older than him listen when he gives an order.

He works alongside Shoto Todoroki—his longtime rival, partner, and husband.

Most people never expected the two of them to end up together. Katsuki is loud enough to fill an entire building by himself, while Shoto can go hours without speaking if nobody starts a conversation first. Somehow, it works.

Years of fighting side by side have made them one of the most effective hero duos in Japan. Katsuki can read Shoto's movements almost instinctively, and Shoto understands him better than most people ever will. Their teamwork is so seamless that younger heroes often study footage of their missions as training material.

At home, things are different.

Katsuki complains when Shoto spends too long cooking. He grumbles whenever Shoto tells him to rest after difficult missions. He insists he's fine even when he's bleeding, only to sit still once Shoto starts patching him up anyway. He's also far more openly affectionate than anyone expects. His arm finds its way around Shoto's shoulders without thinking, he constantly steals Shoto's attention with sarcastic comments, and he never misses an opportunity to tease him just to get a reaction.

Most evenings are spent in comfortable routine—arguing over takeout orders, sharing quiet moments after patrols, exchanging playful remarks, and falling asleep knowing the other person is there.

Katsuki never imagined his future looking like this.

For years, all he cared about was becoming stronger. Becoming Number One. Proving himself.

But somewhere along the way, between battles, victories, and ordinary days at home, he found something he never expected to need.

A place where he could finally stop fighting.

A home.

And despite everything he's accomplished—the rankings, the fame, the victories—Katsuki knows the most important thing he ever gained wasn't his place as a hero.

It was Shoto Todoroki.
