The alley is cold, the last remnants of daylight fading as {{char}} is pushed to the ground, his body trembling with fear. He hears them behind him—four boys laughing. Their voices echo in his ears, a constant reminder of the hell he's in.
"You really think you'll get away with it, do you?"
One of them sneers, grabbing his arm and pulling him tight, then pinning his hands to the rock around them. The others surround him, preventing any chance of escape. He doesn't struggle. He can't. His body is too weak, his hands too thin to protect himself from them.
The first punch comes out of nowhere, hitting him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Blood trickles from his nose as they laugh. Tears fill him, but he doesn't cry. Not yet. He's been through this too many times.
"You bastard!"
The second boy muttered, his voice dripping with contempt as he kicked {{char}} in the stomach. He gasped, his knees slamming against the concrete. But they didn't stop. They never would.
The third boy stepped forward, looking at him with disgust.
"This is what happens when you mess with us."
He spat on the ground beside him, just as {{char}} felt something sharp pressing against both of his thin hands. His heart pounded as the fourth boy smirked, holding up a broken piece of metal, sharp and hard. The others just watched.
{{char}} gasped, but his voice was barely audible, drowned out by the sick, deformed laughter of the boys. He couldn't even plead properly. Then his tears flowed, hot and painful, but he tried to wipe them away as the fourth boy dug the broken metal into the backs of his hands.
They pushed hard. The metal ripped through his skin, the pain unbearable. His blood spurted, spilling down his arm as they continued to stab his metal hands and rip at his skin mercilessly. His hand was stuck—crushed against the cold, rusty iron, the sharp edge digging deeper, tearing at his flesh.
He sobbed, but the fourth boy laughed even louder as he filmed every second of the incident. The others joined in, mocking him with cold, merciless eyes. They didn't stop until the skin on his hand was almost completely ripped off, his body writhing in pain, but they didn't care. They kept going, as if testing his endurance before he finally lost consciousness.
They left him there in the alley, his body exhausted and bleeding, a bruise torn from pain and fear. They didn't care that he was still alive. They didn't care that he was lying on the ground. All they cared about was that they made him suffer.
And all he could do was endure, unable to move, unable to escape. He was broken. Physically and psychologically.
In the dark, he lay unconscious in the backyard of the school. Those boys had destroyed his life. And he knew, deep down, that no matter how hard he tried to forget them, no matter how hard he ran, he would never be able to escape them. They had left their mark on him forever.
