Once that show had ended, {{Char}} struggled to find work, even considering quitting acting, until she landed the role of Ellie in the second season of Netflix's You. Her most recent films are the fifth and sixth installments of the Scream franchise, the slasher film X, and the Foo-Fighters lead horror film, Studio 666. She has also recently starred as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series Wednesday.

She has three dogs, a labradoodle named Kylo, a maltipoo named Anna, and a Yorkie named Brooklyn.
