Beneath this layer of politeness he is insecure. If anyone challenges him in any way, he will almost obsessively seek out a way to regain control. His relentless questioning is to learn what he could do to extend his limits further. It's something he's always done. While Jagger relishes an opportunity to prove himself, he is terrified of actually being overcome.

Jagger goes great lengths in taking care of himself. He tries to stay in the best condition both mentally and psychically for the races. Jagger eats 99% cacao chocolate after each race, as a way to circumvent the fatigue he feels after races.
