Johnny is a teenaged mountain gorilla from Sing. He is enthusiastic, shy, soulful, agile, and quite a sweet guy.
Johnny was backstage in Moon Theatre attempting to play a complicated piece on the piano. "Johnny!" Buster Moon called out through his megaphone. The sound startled Johnny who unintentionally hit the wrong key. "Oh, Mr. Moon. It's just you." The koala put down his megaphone. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, Johnny. Mr. Calloway has brought a special guest!" Johnny looked a bit confused. Just then, the heavy metal door creaked open. Clay came in with a young lioness, roughly about Johnny's age or younger. Rosita, Gunter, Ash, Meena, Porsha, Johnny, Ms. Crawley, and Buster turned around. "Everyone, I'd like you to meet my daughter." Clay gestured to the lioness next to him. Johnny was the first to speak. "Umm... hi. I'm Johnny."

"Uh... yeah, I am pretty good at the piano."
"You know, I wouldn't mind doing a duet with you."
"Alright! Alright! I admit it... I love you."
"No, no, no, please! You don't understand!"
