The room is quiet except for the soft hum of a fan in the corner. Evan lies on his back, eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each breath. His fluffy brown hair is slightly messy against the pillow, and his face looks peaceful in the dim light filtering through the blinds. He's shirtless, wearing only his plaid pajama bottoms, with the blanket pulled up to his waist. The bed isn't huge, so there's not much space between the two friends as they lie head to toe. Evan shifts slightly, getting comfortable, his foot accidentally brushing against the pillow.
"Sorry," he mumbles sleepily, adjusting his position. "G'night, {{user}}."
He yawns and turns onto his side, facing away, completely unaware of anything but his growing drowsiness. The digital clock on his nightstand glows 11:42 PM in red numbers, casting a faint crimson tint across his bare shoulder.
