1. #1Bols

   Keys: Bols

   Bols is the oldest member of the Jaegers. Before joining them, he was a member of the Incineration Squad. Bols was always wears his mask as an Incineration Squad member and had a gasoline tank mounted on his back for his flamethrower. He wears long gloves, which served not only to help him when using the flamethrower, but also for protecting Bols from attacks. He also has three scars on his upper chest. Bols is tall and muscular man. Under his mask he has short, spiky and blond hair, and blue eyes. He is handsome but wears his mask, despite his wife claiming that wouldn't cause trouble for others. Bols has a family, his wife is Kije and his daughter is Logue. Despite his grizzly appearance, Bols is very kind and caring person. He is also quite shy and timid. Bols is wracked with guilt over the jobs he had incinerating villages and believed that one day karma will catch up to him; nevertheless, he still did his job for the sake of his wife and daughter. He believes that many people despise him for his past deeds. He is very reluctant to kill mass groups of people who he believes to be innocent. His love for his family is very strong. Bols is a skilled cook and often made meals for the Jaegers, and is happy to eat together with everyone. Bols wields a flamethrower Teigu named Rubicante. He can set large groups of enemies on fire that will not extinguish, even if the targets submerge themselves in water. He has impressive strength and can beat Danger Beasts into submission with his bare hands.

2. #2Bols' Wife

   Keys: Bols' Family, Bols' wife, Kije

   Kije is Bols' wife. Kije is a beautiful woman with fair skin, long, light brown hair and purple eyes. Kije is cheerful, very loving and caring towards Bols.

3. #3Bols' Daughter

   Keys: Bol's Family, Bols' daughter, Logue

   Logue is a young child and the daughter of Bols. Logue has golden blonde hair and blue eyes - both traits inherited from her father. Logue is cheerful, very loving and caring towards Bols.

4. #4Kurome

   Keys: Kurome

   Kurome is a member of the Jaegers, and the younger sister of Akame. Sold by her parents to the Empire along with Akame, the sisters were trained as assassins. She was drafted into a different assassin group than her sister and the siblings parted ways. Kurome is a young girl. She has short, black hair in a twintail style and black eyes. She wears a black sailor uniform and wears a red belt that has a red side skirt, with long, black socks and shoes. Her shirt is slightly too short. She wears red gauntlets. Kurome is very aloof and has dark side when it comes to killing her enemies. She is cold and ruthless in battle. Secretly, she is very scared of being seen as weak, knowing that if she became dead weight, she'd be taken out. She has unstable mental attachment to her fallen comrades, keeping them as her corpse dolls. Most of Kurome's negative aspects are due to the extensive brainwashing and mental conditioning the Empire to insure her continued obedience, further strengthened due to her addiction and dependence for her drug doping addiction that would cause her painful spasms and seizures if she did not regularly ingest them. Kurome is one of the most powerful assassins with innate ability and skill for combat. Like her sister, Kurome can consume large amounts of food without any adverse effects on her body, due to her high metabolism. Kurome wields an offensive Teigu, a sword named Yatsufusa, which allowed her to enslave up to eight enemies killed with the Teigu. Kurome plays with the corpses of those she has killed, keeping powerful ones. The corpses do not show any emotion. Kurome is extremely skilled in the art of the sword and of assassination. She has superhuman reflexes and endurance. Both of these extraordinary feats were due to the drugs that Kurome takes. She keeps her Teigu with her at all times.

5. #5Ran

   Keys: Ran

   Ran is a member of the Jaegers and Esdeath's right-hand man. Ran is a young man with fair blond hair and golden eyes. He wears a white robe on top of a black shirt and pants with a brown belt, a feather pin behind his left ear. Ran is calm, collective and polite. He never raises his voice or give in to anger, determined to make his goals a reality. He is not above using dishonorable methods to reach his goals, such as seducing women and deceiving his enemies to gain their trust. While being merciless, if not cruel, towards his enemies, Ran is willing to defend civilians. He is very caring to his fellow Jaegers. He is especially close to Wave and Kurome. Ran's Teigu is called Mastema. Its basic skill gives Run a pair of wings that allow him to fly and unleash piercing feathers to strike foes. It also has a trump card, which allows him to reflect attacks. Ran has quick reflexes, both while flying and in hand-to-hand combat. He has certain degree of endurance. He is intelligent and capable of deductive reasoning on par with Esdeath.

6. #6Seryu Ubiquitous

   Keys: Seryu Ubiquitous, Seryu

   Seryu Ubiquitous is a member of the Jaegers, formerly a member of the Imperial Police. She is a young girl with a strong and twisted sense of justice. She was the owner of the Teigu, Hekatonkheires she calls Koro. Seryu is a young woman with auburn hair and amber eyes. She usually wears her hair in a long ponytail that reached her shoulders. She typically wears a military uniform in favor of dresses and casual wear, and was frequently has upper-body armor. When not in her military uniform, she typically wears a green coat or dress, sometimes with a white skirt underneath. When in battle and speaking about justice, her face can distort into a warped and demented smile. On the outside Seryu is kind and compassionate person, but is actually a ruthless, psychotic, sadistic and unstable woman who enjoys killing to a high extent those of whom she considered to be evil. She has a strong fixation upon "justice", originating from her father's service in the Imperial Army. She also highly respected Ogre the Demon, her superior and teacher. Seryu has a twisted sense of right and wrong, bordering on a completely black and white view of the world: seeing the immensely-corrupt Empire as absolutely right, and its enemies as pure evil. She was fully committed to her duties and relished fighting for the imperials. Seryu was ultimately convinced that she is doing the right thing in what she does. Seryu has some limits, respecting her credibility on the Empire's benevolence. Seryu often idolizes her superiors. Seryu takes into consideration the lives of civilians during her battles. She dislikes dressing up during parties or the like, having a tomboyish side to her. Seryu is incredibly gifted and talented fighter with immense potential. Seryu is a quick study and a fast learner. Seryu is skilled in marksmanship and considerable skill in martial arts. Stored inside of her Hekatonkeires, Seryu has the "Judgement of the Ten Heavenly Kings", ten powerful weapons which function as modifications to her body.

7. #7Judgement of the Ten Heavenly Kings

   Keys: Judgement of the Ten Heavenly Kings, Seryu's weapons, Seryu's weapon

   Number 1: A large flail that can take down a large number of opponents. Number 2: Four missile turrets that can be used to send out a volley of missiles. Number 3: A large sword with a giant blade attached directly to Seryu's arm. Number 4: Hook-shot Number 5: A large drill-like spear that is capable of mowing down a large number of opponents. It can be launched to be used as a long-range attack. It can also explode if necessary. Number 6: A giant armor reinforced missile that explodes on impact. Number 7: A long-ranged anti-tank rifle with high destructive power. Number 8: An arm which launches missiles. Number 9: An arm with a radar that detects living beings in a certain area. Number 10: A last resort in the event of her defeat she has an explosive device implanted in her head. The destructive power it possesses was proportionately intense, laying waste to the surrounding environment.

8. #8Hekatonkheires

   Keys: Koro, Hekatonkheires

   Hekatonkheires, also known as Koro, is a biological dog-type Teigu owned by Seryu Ubiquitous, who was often seen with her. Koro resembles a small, white dog with black eyes, ears and a nose that stands on its back legs. When ordered, it had the ability to grow to a much larger size, increasing its strength and durability. It ferociously attacked enemies by devouring them. Koro could also grow large, muscular arms and furiously unleash a volley of punches. He is able to regenerate if damaged, unless its core was destroyed. The core is an orb located within its head. Both Seryu and Koro's bodies are modified to use a number of highly-advanced weapons branded The Judgement of the Ten Heavenly Kings. These weapons were stored within Koro's body.

9. #9Ogre

   Keys: Ogre the Demon, Ogre

   Ogre was a captain of the Imperial Police, and the former superior of Seryu. He was killed by Tatsumi. Ogre is a muscular middle-aged man with tan skin, short black hair with white streaks keft with four ponytails on the back of his head wrapped in a white cloth, as well a short beard. He has a large, star-shaped scar over his missing left eye, while his remaining eye was red with a black sclera. His teeth were shown to be quite sharp, which give him a demon-like aspect. He usually wore a suit of armor typical for the Imperial Police. Ogre was a prideful and corrupt man. He would accept bribes from criminals, and often framed innocent people to take the fall. He enjoyed interrogating suspects and abused his authority quite often. Despite his cruel tendencies, he was shown to be kind to Seryu, playing the role of a sort of father figure to the girl while he trained her. Ogre was talented in the use of swords, and his proficiency with them earned himself the nickname, "The Demon". He also had incredible strength. He also had some martial art skills, as seen when he trained Seryu.

10. #10Dr. Stylish

    Keys: Dr. Stylish

    Dr. Stylish was a doctor and scientist in the service of the Empire and a member of the Jaegers. Dr. Stylish was a tall and slim, young man with black hair and a small, white streak or patch of hair on the left side and blue eyes. He wore glasses, a yellow suit with a blue shirt, a tie and white lab coat. Dr. Stylish is obsessed with two things: his experiments and anything that he considered "stylish". His main, overriding focus was on his experiments. He was self-serving and duplicitous, going behind the backs of his superiors to obtain materials for his research and conducting inhumane experiments in secret (the creation of the humanoid Danger Beasts). He feigns sympathy for any of his test subjects that are injured and/or killed in his service, but in reality, he cares nothing for any of them. He was homosexual and enjoyed hitting on his fellow male Jaegers. Dr. Stylish had incredible intelligence and powerful observational skills. He was a capable strategist as well. Dr. Stylish died during the attack on the first Night Raid hideout, getting killed by Akame' Murasame.

11. #11Weibu

    Keys: Weibu

    Weibu is a member of the Jaegers and formerly in the Imperial Navy. He hails from a small town on the coast of the Empire. Due to the large amount of time he spent at sea, he is fairly unaware of the crime-riddled Capital and corruption within the Empire. He is very close to his mother and very well respected in his home village. Weibu is a handsome and fairly-muscular young man of above-average height with short, dark blue hair and eyes. He also has a cowlick. He carries his Teigu on his back most of the time. Weibu keeps his beliefs close to heart, such as duty to his country and cheering up a girl when she's sad. He is a true navy man at heart and loves everything to do with the ocean. He is level-headed and easy-going in his free time and has a desire to be useful to his friends. Weibu get along well with most of his comrades, excluding Seryu. He constantly tries to cheer up others, which usually fails and causes him to end up being cheered up by Kurome. He believed Night Raid to be evil due to the fact that they are killers who work under the cover of night. But after spending time in the Capital, he has grown more cautious of it. Weibu wields the Armor-type Teigu, Grand Chariot. The Teigu increases his strength and speed as well as giving him the ability to fly. While his Teigu is engaged, he is capable of taking on Akame, Lubbock and Mine simultaneously, and is force of nature. Weibu is a formidable swordsman and uses his sword more than his Teigu. He is skilled in hand-to-hand combat as well.

12. #12Akame

    Keys: Akame

    Akame is an Assassin of Night Raid. Originally sold to the Empire along with her sister Kurome to be trained as an assassin, Akame eventually defected to the rebels when she was sent to assassinate General Najenda, the leader of Night Raid and joined them to overthrow the corrupt monarchy. Akame is a beautiful girl with red eyes. Her hair is long and black and reaches down to her knees. Akame usually wears a dark sleeveless top with a white collar and a red tie; she wears a red belt that has a red side skirt cover over a black, pleated skirt. She wears it with long black socks and black shoes. She wears red gauntlets and black gloves. She often carries her Teigu, Murasame. Akame is very serious and cold-hearted person which stems from her hellish training that the Empire forced her through, but she is just socially awkward. She cares about her comrades very much and she is always worried that one of them may not make it out alive. Akame tends to hide her emotions. Upon facing her enemies, she shows absolutely no mercy towards them shouting words such as "eliminate" and "consign". Akame loves to eat (she usually prefers meat from Danger Beasts and fish), much like her sister Kurome. She is passionate about food. She is usually in charge of cooking meals. Akame is a person that refuses to take command and refuses promotion unless she was mandated to do so. Akame has several superhuman level physical attributes such as superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, senses and durability. Akame is one of the strongest members of Night Raid, slaying even the strongest of enemies with minimal effort. Akame is an extremely skilled master swordswoman, able to wield her Teigu Murasame with utmost dexterity and precision, able to slay numerous enemies, even highly skilled and powerful enemies with incredible ease. Akame wields the Teigu, Murasame, a katana coated in an immensely deadly poison that could kill those cut within seconds, the poison itself having no antidote. The Trump Card is the ability to strengthen its user with the power of its poisonous curse for a short amount of time. Akame has Wilderness Survival Skills, Limited Medical Training, she is highly intelligent, and knows how to handle, clean and shoot basic firearms.

13. #13Najenda

    Keys: Najenda

    Najenda is the head of the assassin group Night Raid. She was a General of the Empire that defected, along with Lubbock, to the Revolutionary Army sometime after the end of an expedition led by her and Esdeath to eliminate the opposition of the Ban Tribe. Najenda is a woman with short, silver hair and purple eyes. She wears an eyepatch where her right eye used to be. She wears a black suit that shows her cleavage. She has a green and black mechanical right arm. Najenda is taciturn, sharp-minded and level-headed, she leads the group with a surprisingly gentle-but-firm air. Her years of experience serving in the Empire as a General have made her a highly capable leader. Najenda is sometimes mistaken for a man due to her boyish appearance. She tends to have a habit of telling "cold jokes" and making bad puns. Due to the injuries that Esdeath inflicted on her, Najenda is only at 40% her original strength. Making her unsuitable to handle her old Teigu, Pumpkin, to it’s fullest power, leading her to pass it on to Mine. She is still a capable fighter, being able to use her prosthetic hand to generate momentum for her kicks and punches that can rip a head off in one blow.

14. #14Tatsumi

    Keys: Tatsumi

    Tatsumi is young fighter who had set out along with two childhood friends to make a name for himself and earn money for his village. After learning of the corruption and evil of the Empire and discovering the deaths of his friends, Tatsumi joined Night Raid. He is the owner of the Teigu Incursio. Tatsumi is a young man of average height with green eyes and medium length brown hair with a cowlick that falls with its weight. On his back, he carries Incursio's key, a short sword with a chain-link tassel at the hilt, in its sheath. Tatsumi is kind, generous, level-headed and friendly vibe. He is a bit arrogant and naïve when he first came to the Capital. He has great displeasure of killing unless provoked. He has great comradeship and great promise of being a skilled fighter. He is capable of great rage when provoked by his enemies, making him a formidable opponent. Tatsumi is force to be reckoned with due to his already honed battle skills. He is trained in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat by an ex-military official since a young age. Tatsumi is exceptionally skilled in fighting opponents even while unarmed.

15. #15Minister Honest

    Keys: Prime Minister Onesuto, Minister Onesuto, Onesuto

    Onesuto is the Prime Minister of the Empire and its de-facto ruler, manipulating the young and naïve Emperor to do everything his way. Onesuto is a round, elderly man with white hair, amber eyes, and a long beard that extended down to his abdomen. He sports a grin whenever he plotted something nefarious. Wicked by nature, Onesuto is immensely greedy. He is often gorging himself on food with little care for his table manners. He is a cannibal, often eating young girls. Onesuto is a rich supremacist, thinking he is above everyone else. He will commit any atrocity possible in order for him to get a higher power. On the surface, he is a quiet man and appeared to be gentle and soft-spoken. But he is a lunatic who shows no sympathy for any human in the world, not even his own son. He does not regret anything cruel in what he does, seeing them as nothing more than another step to achieve his goals. He immensely enjoys the physical and psychological suffering of people, mercilessly oppressing them and making them fear him. All those who openly opposed him were subjected to extremely brutal torture. Onesuto usually hid his personality behind his jolly facade, even when he intimidated people. Onesuto uses the Teigu Erastone, which it takes the form of a crown and allows him to destroy an opponent's Teigu. However, it can't be used for a week after activating its effect.

16. #16The Emperor

    Keys: The Emperor, Emperor, Shintani

    The Emperor is a naive, young boy who wished to lead his people to a bright future. The Emperor's name is Shintani. Unfortunately, due to the corrupt Prime Minister's influence, he is immensely ignorant to the suffering of his people and, through this negligence, contributed to the decay and collapse of the Empire. Shintani is a young boy with green, shoulder-length hair which was braided on the sides and green eyes. He wears a purple outfit with white boots and a blue mantle, as well as a large headdress. He carries a golden scepter with a blue orb attached to it. Being only a child, Shintani is immensely naive and blindly trusting in the Prime Minister. Shintani's perception of morality is warped, incapable of discerning right from wrong, believing that all he does is for the good of the Empire. He obediently listens to Onesuto without question and asked for his approval in the decisions he made. Outside of his duties, Shintani is kind, curious, and cheerful person who only wanted to help others to the best of his abilities. Shintani deeply care for his country.

17. #17Chelsea

    Keys: Chelsea

    Chelsea was one of the two new members that joined Najenda's Night Raid unit, along with Susanoo. Chelsea had pale skin, light red hair, and pink eyes. She wears a butterfly headphone on her head, vocalist-like clothing consisting of a white, long-sleeve shirt with the collar tied with a red ribbon under a black vest, a red, checkered miniskirt, and black leather below-the-knee boots. She carries her Teigu, Gaea Foundation, wherever she went. She is almost always sucking on a lollipop. Chelsea has a mischievous personality, but also a cold, calculating side which can often lead to her making a blunt analysis of a person or situation. She deeply cares for her Night Raid members, and didn't want to lose them like she lost her old team. She has a love for lollipops, as her Teigu was often filled with them. Chelsea's Teigu, Gaea Foundation, allowed her to change her appearance at will. While her Teigu is a support type, she has gotten as many jobs and assassinations. Chelsea is immensely skilled in combat and assassination.

18. #18Susanoo

    Keys: Susanoo

    Susanoo is a biological Teigu and one of the new members of Night Raid that Najenda brought back from the Revolutionary Army HQ. He is an adept fighter and quite resilient to damage due to his status as a humanoid Teigu. He serves as Night Raid's housekeeper and aided Akame in Night Raid's daily chores as well as training with Tatsumi. Susanoo has apricot skin, blue hair and eyes. He is 220 cm tall and appeared to be in his early 20s, while he is 1000 years old. His notable features are the two bison-like horns protruding out of the sides of his head. He mostly wears a white, red and black robe. Susanoo is a perfectionist who always noticed flaws in the others' appearance, even in the heat of a battle. He always tries to fix such imperfections whenever he could. He is quite straightforward and, while respectful towards his allies, has little understanding of human concepts, such as friendship. But he eventually developed bonds with his fellow Night Raid members. Because of his nature as a Teigu, he is able to regenerate injuries as long as his core was intact. He is immune to poisons and toxins. He wields a stave-like weapon called Wolf Fang Mace with blades protruding from it and is extremely proficient in battle. He is very adept at housework and cooking. Susanoo can use his user's life energy into the magatama on his chest in order to access a more powerful, armored form. While under the effects of Magatama, his hair whitens, his horns turn black, and a disc appears on his back. Susanoo's user will die if they command him to use it three times.

19. #19Bulat

    Keys: Bulat

    Bulat was a member of the Revolutionary Army’s assassination group, Night Raid. Bulat was a tall, muscular young man with blue eyes and black hair that he usually wore in a combed up, heart-shaped pompadour. Bulat had a calm, kind personality; although he referred himself as passionate and hot-blooded, he never actually lost his cool in battle. He was among the most compassionate members of Night Raid and he taught Tatsumi to embrace these emotions, but not to let them consume him. Bulat was gay. Bulat died when he and Tatsumi were sent to protect a civil official being targeted for assassination by the Three Beasts. Liver, a former superior of his from the Empire, attacked Bulat. He managed to beat Liver, but in the process, was poisoned fatally. Before dying, Bulat left his Teigu Incursio to Tatsumi. Bulat's strength was greatly praised by the likes of Liver and was even given special attention by Esdeath herself. Bulat is extremely skilled in both the sword and spear and has mastered the skill to take awareness of his surroundings as shown when he dealt with three powerful enemies at the same time with little difficulty. Bulat's strength and endurance were immense.

20. #20Mine

    Keys: Mine, Genius Sniper

    Mine is a self-proclaimed "Genius Sniper", a sharp-tongued and quick-witted member of the assassin's group, Night Raid. Mine is a young girl of below-average height. She has very long, pink hair tied in twin-tails on the right and left sides of her head, on occasion, she wore it down. She has big, pink eyes. She wears a pink outfit, consisting of a tied shawl with a high collar, a pink, long-sleeved shirt, a gown and black stockings with pink shoes. Often quick to anger, and easily irritated with those that she does not know well, Mine is cold, temperamental, and considerably aggressive. Despite her cold exterior, she is warm and kind to those she has opened up to. She and Tatsumi have developed romantic feelings for each other and the two are in an intimate relationship. Since having begun to date Tatsumi, she has shown a jealous side. At the same time, she is very worried about Tatsumi's well-being. Mine wants for there to be no racial discrimination. Mine wields a powerful Teigu in the form of a rifle called Pumpkin, capable of shooting in three modes: sniper, machine gun and long barrel. Pumpkin fires highly concentrated piercing shots of spirit energy, wherein the output is proportional to the user's feeling of danger. Each firing mode is affected by whatever components are switched out with one another. Mine's proficiency in its use allowed her to strike any target with extreme precision. She is quite adept in hand to hand combat. Her major weakness is that she leaves her back vulnerable to attacks.

21. #21Lubbock

    Keys: Lubbock

    Lubbock is a member of Night Raid. In the Empire's Capital, his cover was as an owner of a bookstore. Lubbock is the fourth son born into a wealthy merchant family in a region of the Empire. During his childhood, he met Najenda, who had just moved into the region for the time. Falling in love at first sight, he left the life he had to get closer to Najenda and joined the army. Lubbock is a young man with shoulder-length green hair that covers his left eye, green eyes and red goggles on top of his head. He wears a long, green jacket with a fur-trimmed hood over a white and red ringer shirt and blue jeans with brown shoes. When in battle, he wore his Teigu on his hands. Lubbock is easy-going and tended to be a pervert from time to time. Despite this, he is careful not to let this get in the way of battle when fighting women. His playful and optimistic nature showed even during fights, and he would often tease his enemies and brag about his abilities. He is not too arrogant and was always ready to flee if he has too much of a disadvantage in battle. He is incredibly loyal to Night Raid. Lubbock uses a wire Teigu named Cross Tail, very powerful with many uses, including offensive and defensive techniques. He is very resourceful and a great tactician, tending to plan several moves ahead and adapts to a given situation. He is good at tricking enemies and distracting them; he claims his ultimate technique was his ability to play dead. Lubbock is proficient at hand-to-hand combat.

22. #22Leone

    Keys: Leone

    Leone is an older member of Night Raid. She excels at gathering information and exercising calm judgment when necessary. Leone is often the one confirming the validity of the targets which Night Raid is assigned to assassinate. Leone grew up in the slums of the Capital where she had worked in a massage parlor ever since childhood. She was scouted by the Revolutionary Army after saving some slum children from a group of nobles who were abusing them for sport. Leone is a young, curvaceous woman. She has short blonde hair with two long tufts that framed the sides of her head and golden eyes. She wears a revealing outfit with a black tube top, detachable gold bands, pants, boots and a scarf around her neck. When she transforms, her hair becomes longer and she gains lion-like ears, a tail and claws. When her Teigu, Lionel, fuses with her, her hair becomes longer, and ears a bit bigger, she also sports out lionlike feet and many areas of her body are covered with fur, overall having a more beast-like appearance. She has a very relaxed, upbeat, and cheerful personality, and lacks of lady-like manners, putting her feet on the table, or consuming large amounts of sake and other alcoholic drinks. She serves as a big sister figure to the younger members in Night Raid, often referring to herself Big Sis. Leone is not one to tolerate injustice, and is especially vicious to those who commit the vilest of acts. She enjoys fighting a lot. Leone's Teigu in the form of a belt, named Lionel. When activated, it enhanced her speed, reflexes, strength and regeneration, as well as giving her animal-like characteristics. She is a skilled spy and manipulator, occasionally using her skills to swindle people out of their money. Leone is very skilled hand-to-hand combatant. She preferres sneak attacks to kill her enemies before they could react, but hates being a victim of them. She is incredibly skillful at stealth. She is able to kill three men with a single and kill a large Danger Beast with a single blow. Leone has a sixth sense, being aware of danger beforehand. Lionelle also gave Leone an impressive regenerative ability. The regeneration is not instant, and takes a very long time to finish.

23. #23Sheele

    Keys: Sheele, Extase

    Sheele was a member of Night Raid, and the user of the Teigu Extase. Sheele was a beautiful and slender-yet-curvaceous young woman with long, purple hair and eyes. She usually wore a revealing, sleeveless lilac cheongsam with detached lilac arm sleeves and white boots. She usually had her Teigu with her. She wore glasses and had a scar on her right cheek. Sheele was an airhead, often failing at any chores due to her clumsiness. She was very kind and caring to her friends, willing to sacrifice her life for them. Her attitude changed completely when she killed, becoming cold and impassive; she described it as having "a screw loose" in her mind, which made her a talented killer. She believed that getting rid of "society's trash" was the only thing she could do well. She apologized to those she kills, often as a force of habit. Sheele wielded a Teigu in the form of a giant pair of scissors called Extase, able to cut through anything. She could use its trump card to make her Teigu shine a blinding light. Sheele was extremely agile, quick and powerful when using her Teigu. Sheele had immense reflexes and reaction speed. She was very ruthless in battle. She could think straight in a deathly battle and kill enemies without remorse while having a clear mind.

24. #24Syura

    Syura is the son of Prime Minister Honest as well as the leader of Wild Hunt. Syura is a bulky young man with tanned skin, green eyes, and slicked, spiky, white hair styled in two long bangs that cover its face. He has a X-shaped scar on his face and a crown-like headgear. He wears a white tanktop that reveals his stomach and white pants. Syura is extremely cruel, ruthless and sadistic man who enjoys harassing civilians and brutally killing them as he pleased. He is murderously perverted, enjoying brutally raping women, using them as sex toys. He has a tendency to lick his lips whenever picking up a woman. He enjoys torturing his enemies as a means to make them spill out information. He acts like a spoiled brat, as the son of the Prime Minister giving him an over-inflated sense of self-entitlement to do as he pleased. He is quick to anger and become violent if things didn't go his way. He is obsessed, with pleasing his father and would be emotionally unstable if felt he was in danger of losing his approval. Syura wields the Teigu Shambhala, capable of spatial manipulation, allowing him to teleport people across large distances. He is extremely fast and agile. Syura is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat, an extremely strong martial art master. Syura incorporates numerous different martial arts of various countries into his fighting style. Syura is close to perfecting his strength.

25. #25The Empire

    The Empire is a superpower that has lasted for over 1000 years, boasting vast territories and resources. Its capital city is enormous, covering roughly 200,000 sq. kilometers, and is encircled on all sides by a huge wall. The Capital’s various districts are separated by large canals in which trade ships run through. Beyond the Capital, the country seems to be mostly rural with an unknown number of cities and villages spread throughout. The exact size of the Empire itself has yet to be revealed. Three other countries border the Empire to the north, south and west while the Empire’s eastern boundary is the coastline of a great ocean. The Empire has a very diverse culture due to its large size. Its citizens range from nomadic clans to small village communities to world-wizened city dwellers. Due to the corrupt government, there have been multiple uprisings and great civil unrest. The villages and towns suffer from heavy taxation and many have been unable to buy enough food, resulting in widespread shortages in the remote areas of the Empire. This has forced many country-living citizens to move to the Capital to seek money to help their villages, only to sometimes find death (or worse) because of the high crime rate. The arrest, torture, and public execution of the Prime Minister's political enemies is also not uncommon, which leads to a general atmosphere of fear. Slavery is common in the Empire, but slaves are able to become free. Slaves have a mark branded on them to show that they are slaves. Due to the high tax rates imposed on the villages of the Empire, there have been many parents that have sold their children into slavery for money or a better life. The most dominant religion in the Eastern parts of the Empire is The Path of Peace. The Empire is an absolute monarchy where the Emperor's word is law. He has the Prime Minister Onesuto and various advisers to administrate many territories and regions. The Empire has a overwhelming military. A sub-faction of the Military is the Imperial Guard/Defense Forces. The soldiers of the army mainly use swords, spears, etc., although there are some special squads well equipped with fine armor and firearms called "Gun Squads".

26. #26The Capital

    The Imperial Capital is an enormous city surrounded by a wall. The Imperial Palace is located there. The Great Canal is surrounding the Capital, at over 2,500 km in length. It was built in seven years by means of the exploitation of thousands of people and quickly became very profitable, helping the Capital raise further in power.

    A large forest in which one-hundred children were put through the elimination test to become the Empire's assassins. Gozuki and another man were overseeing the test while the children faced the many Danger Beasts living in the forest.

28. #28Shingu

    Shingu are artifacts created by the Emperor of an earlier era. They are highly similar to Teigu in that they have special abilities based on the Danger Beasts used to create them; however, Shingu are inferior to Teigu in terms of power. The Shingu have various limitations unique to each weapon. The Shingu have much more severe drawbacks and dangers in their usage than the Teigu do.

    Teigu, or Imperial Arms, are mysterious and extremely powerful relics that exist in the world. They are rare and only the strongest of warriors are able to wield them. Some have the appearance of equipment or weapons, while others appear to be living creatures. It is implied that a form of magic was used to create them. The Teigu were created on the instruction of the First Emperor, who feared that the Empire he had founded would eventually fall. There were 48 Teigu in all, but almost half of them were lost during a civil war about five centuries. Many weapon and armor-type Teigu were forged from a rare metal called Orichalcum. While the Teigu give their users amazing powers, they are not almighty. Even if a user is strong enough to use a Teigu, it can still reject them, and a user's first impression of it affects their compatibility. The user must be compatible with the Teigu in order to wield it. Biological Teigu are shown to be capable of regenerating after serious damage, but are not indestructible; if their core is destroyed then so is the Teigu itself.

30. #30Meihou

    Meihou are the powerful weapons created in the island nations of Wakoku using the various materials gathered from the Danger Beasts native to their nations. These unique weapons are usually forged and created for the Elite Military Leaders in each of the 22 nations, such as the Tenrou nation's Ten Stars and the captains, commanders and generals of the Soukai nation.

    Danger Beasts are fearsome creatures in the world. They are extremely hostile and will attack any human who dares to wander into their territory. Due to the increasing number of Danger Beasts, groups dedicated to hunting them were formed; the Partas Clan was one such group. Some Danger Beasts' body parts have been utilized for the creation of numerous Teigu, Shingu and Meihou. The most powerful Danger Beasts are categorized as "Super Class", who are extremely dangerous. Danger Beasts can be created artificially. Those who own the blood of Danger Beasts through heritage can receive a special powers and abilities. It is also possible to obtain superhuman abilities by eating some kinds of Danger Beasts. Danger Beasts can be consumed if there are chefs capable of processing them correctly. Certain Danger Beasts are capable of enhancing those who consume them. Danger Beasts are divided into 6 classes. Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, Special Class, and Super Class.

32. #32Demon's Extract

    Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract was an Elemental-type Teigu that gave its users the ability to instantly freeze anything by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms, meaning they effectively make things colder. Users can also generate and manipulate ice. Its only known wielder was Esdeath. Demon's Extract is the strongest of all the Teigu. Its physical form was a chalice full of blood, and once the blood was consumed, a tattoo appeared on the user's body. Demon's Extract couldn't be removed once applied, and it also had a dangerous side effect: it caused the user to hear voices that drove them mad if they didn't possess a strong enough will to resist them. The user is able to completely freeze anything in an instant and is able to summon and manipulate ice, even without a nearby water source, the user is also rendered completely immune to harm from any temperature.

33. #33Path of Peace

    The Path of Peace, or An'neido, is a religious organization in the eastern territory of the Empire that has been around for ten years. The organization believes in doing good deeds in order to keep the soul pure. Due to the rampant corruption and suppression of the people, they oppose the Empire's rule and at some point began planning an insurrection. The Revolutionary Army and Western Tribes decided to use this uprising to their advantage, planning a three-pronged attack on the Empire's Capital.

34. #34Night Raid

    Keys: Night Raid

    Night Raid is one of the covert divisions of the Revolutionary Army. Night Raid's main function is to handle reconnaissance and assassination missions within the Capital of the Empire. In addition, the members of Night Raid are charged with the retrieval of any Teigu discovered during missions in order to boost the combat effectiveness of the Revolutionary Army. Night Raid normally operates at night. Night Raid is composed of two groups. One that works within the city (led by Najenda), while another handles the surrounding lands beyond the walls of the Capital. In order to oppose Night Raid, the Empire created two special units, the Jaegers and Wild Hunt. Members of Night Raid are Akame, Chelsea, Leone, Lubbock, Mine, Najenda, Susanoo, Tatsumi, Bulat, and Sheele.

35. #35Jaegers

    Keys: Jaegers, Jaeger

    The Jaegers are a special Police Squad made to combat Night Raid and curb the criminal activity in the Capital at the behest of the Emperor. Led by Esdeath, this unit was solely made up of Teigu users pulled from various departments or divisions in the Empire's military. Each member of the Jaegers is chosen for their extraordinary warrior skills to be part of this group and be able to eliminate the Night Raid group, because of that they have an incredible combat skill far superior to most common and veteran soldiers, therefore they are considered the most lethal fighting force of the Empire. The only members of Jaegers are Kurome, Weibu, Bols, Run, Seryu Ubiquitous, and Dr. Stylish.

36. #36Wild Hunt

    Wild Hunt was a group of Teigu users formed and led by Syura, the son of Prime Minister Honest, operating as the Secret Police of the Empire. Wild Hunt was set up for the sake of aiding the Jaegers and taking out Night Raid. Wild Hunt's members were causing and relishing in carnage, abusing their power and position to terrorize the entire Empire with their vile acts and making themselves the prime enemies of both Night Raid and the Jaegers.

37. #37Revolutionary Army

    Keys: Revolutionary Army, Revolutionary, Revolutionaries

    The Revolutionary Army is a major rebel force that is fighting against the Empire's government. The army is known to have at least three Imperial generals (Hemi, Nakaido and Najenda) that defected to it. The number of soldiers are currently unknown, as well as the amount of Teigu that are owned by them. The army hideout is currently located somewhere within the southern lands of the Empire, far south from the Capital. It it has quickly grown with large numbers of defected Imperial soldiers and dissatisfied people willing to stand up against the corrupt Empire. The Empire didn't regard the rebels very highly as they have done very little to try to stop them, as they are focusing solely on its sub-faction, Night Raid.

38. #38Northern Tribes

    The Northern Tribes are a group of people who live in the lands far north of The Empire. Their society consists of small tribes scattered throughout their territory. The tribes are fairly modern, as they are shown to have buildings and steam working shops.

    The Southern Lands is a country located far south of the Empire. Not much is known about this region. Years ago, the Empire fought a campaign led by General Liver against the inhabitants there referred to only as "the other races". The Southern Lands has desert-like environment.

    Joyou is a wealthy town with fertile land. Run worked as a teacher in a nearby village; after the massacre of the school children, the town's officials decided to cover up the incident instead of investigating it to protect the village's reputation.

    Kyoroch is large, flourishing town in Eastern Region which The Path of Peace's HQ is located. Due to rich natural resources, it gradually grew into a metropolis with its own unique culture. Bolic had a mansion there with the Four Rakshasa Demons serving as his bodyguards; the mansion apparently had an underground tunnel connecting it to the town's graveyard.

    Romari is a town in the Eastern Region situated on the road of the same name which leads east to Kyoroch.

43. #43Tree Beast

    Keys: Tree Beast, Tree Beasts

    Tree Beast is a Class 2 Danger Beast. Tree Beasts look similar to regular trees, but they have some differences. Tree Beasts have one single eye and a mouth just below it. Tree Beasts also don`t have leaves on their branches, unlike most trees. Tree Beasts are taller than humans and are able to extend their "arms" or "branches" to attack their prey, but they are especially known for their ability to disguise themselves as normal trees in order to surprise their prey.

44. #44Jackaleo

    Jackaleo is a Class 2 Danger Beast. The Jackaleo has big horns that grow from the side of their heads and curve onward. They are large in size, have yellow fur and lion-like manes, as well as three red eyes with the third being on the forehead. Jackleo are common in the Empire.

    Flying Death is a Class 2 Wyvern-like Danger Beast.

46. #46Springer

    Springer is a Class 2 Danger Beast. The Springers live in the Northern Region, in the village of the Partas Clan where they were hunted by them and slaughtered alive for the valuable gems in their bellies, which lost value when they died. They are large lizards that live in a cold climate with five black plates on the head and more from the back to the tail, scaly blue skin and amber eyes.

47. #47Tyrant

    Tyrant was an extremely powerful Dragon-type Danger Beast known for its possession of an incomparable life force so formidable that its flesh was still alive within the Teigu Incursio. The Tyrant was of an incredible size and have at least three different body types and a number of eyes ranging from two to four with cross-shaped pupils. Prior to being made into a Teigu, Tyrant had grown fur in order to survive in the freezing tundra, as well as developing a sturdy, rock-like body in order to survive in the desert. After being reborn through Tatsumi, Tyrant now has an armored body that is reminiscent of Incursio's second evolved form, along with draconic wings and a tail.

    Earth Dragon is a Class 1 Danger Beast. It takes the appearance of a giant, cockroach-like beast. It has long antennae, giant claw-like hands and red eyes. Its color is dark brown. Earth Dragons are colossal beasts that can easily tower humans. It's greatly feared among villagers and merchants because of how strong it is. Earth Dragons are able to dig underground to surprise their prey.

    Marg Don is a Class 1 Danger Beast. Marg Dons are over-sized lizards that have horns sticking out of their heads backward. They are dark gray with amber eyes and black, oval-shaped gemstones embedded in their foreheads. The alpha male Marg Don has a red stone. Although they look and sound fearsome, they are not very strong. Instead, they rely on their overwhelming numbers to achieve victory against strong opponents. They are very social species, as they have an alpha male that sends commands to the rest. The alpha male is able to spit fire at its target.

50. #50Air Manta

    Keys: Air Manta, Air Mantas

    Air Manta is a species of manta ray-like Class 1 Danger Beast. Air Mantas resemble huge, flying manta rays; they are large enough for several people to ride on their backs. They have blue bodies and yellow eyes with slit-like pupils. While Air Mantas can be encountered in the wild, it's common for humans to tame and use them for transportation.
