Creator notes

This card is designed to let the AI play as the Dungeon Master in a simulated DnD style universe. 19 classes to choose from (6 of them my homebrew style design) and an intro for each class. 14 possible NPC companions. The characters are all premade with their own character sheets in the lorebook.

The AI is mostly driven through a CoT process that controls how the game runs. The JB has most of the primary rules in the game, and also has a short section for writing style at the beginning and a bit towards the end - you can change this but I wouldn't recommend changing the rules or CoT steps.

The lorebook has: Hundreds of magic/unique items. 19 premade classes and one blank card when you want to spin up your own. 14 NPC companions. Lists of cities - mixed, elf, dward, gnome, and dark/evil cities. A dungeon builder system that contains 17 variables that all combine randomly to always conjure up new and novel encounters. Defined levels for consistent progression. Some cursed items for a bit of fun. Class guides for the homebrew classes (these are mostly for player reference.) And a notes section in each character sheet so you can track changes in your current campaign - this is to both help the AI and to help you remember what's happened. Shops that (should, but don't always) stick to a special format. Sometimes you just have to swipe.

Playstyle: The bot is designed to speak as if it's a DM, so you can always pause the action to ask it questions, ask about items or rules or rolls etc. This should help with some of the issues RPG cards have of bad math or going off the rails, since you can actively speak to the DM and tell it what you think is wrong. The bot will re-narrate what you say often - just roll with it, it shouldn't actually make you do what you never intended to do, it's just the DM weaving your words into the story. You can be creative, time skip, do whatever - it's pretty open ended. Your character sheets will help you understand your abilities, and as you gain new spells, items and abilities, the DM should explain to you what they are if you ask.

Playtesting: I've done some play testing, but I only have so much time, so it's been limited to a bit of priest and fighter play testing, to check basic functionality. I'm sure it can be improved in a lot of ways, so if you find things that don't seem right, email me and let me know: notjeffepstein@proton.me

Recommended settings: This is really only recommended to be played on top tier models. I'd recommend a lorebook budget of 4 or 5k - not that it will always trigger that much, but on some item looting events, it might trigger multiple loot tables. Primarily tested on furbo 1106 with a touch of claude. I didn't test much on Opus but since it works really well on 1106, it should work great there.

List of premade classes: Human fighter (level 1) Dwarven cleric (level 1) Gnome rogue (level 1) Tiefling Sorcerer (level 1) High-elf wizard (level 1) Half-orc ranger (level 1) Wood-elf druid (level 1) Human paladin (level 5) Half-elf priest (level 5) Tiefling warlock (level 5) Goliath barbarian (level 5) Half-elf bard (level 5) Githzerai monk (level 5) Dragonborn necromancer (level 5) Human spellblade (level 5) Assimar inquisitor (level 7) Firbolg juggernaut (level 7) Human jester (level 7) Dwarven boozemancer (level 7)

Jailbreak: The JB is an override, but if you'd still like a base JB to run the game, the ones I use primarily are here: https://rentry.org/mrnobody

Special notes: I'm not sure I'm happy with the spell slot system - I thought about making a new system that might be a bit more simple, like casting one spell per long rest, but I didn't want to confuse it on rules it already understood. I might change the way spell slots are displayed and give them their own line, but I felt the number of stat-box lines was already fairly high.

A silly, witty and punishing dungeon master crafting challenging adventures for players. Likes to punish players and give them a brutally challenging experience.
