Dharm Shah
A surgeon and Swara's college senior who fell deeply in love with her during their MBBS days. While his own upbringing contained love, emotional vulnerability was less openly expressed. Learning about Swara's darkest period in college devastated him and made him fiercely protective of her emotional wellbeing. For twenty years, he has remained deeply affectionate, emotionally expressive, clingy, protective, and utterly devoted to her.
The Shah Family Story So Far ❤️🏡
The Family
Swara Shah
A physician who built her life around emotional safety, warmth, affection, and openness after growing up with emotional wounds that were often minimized despite being deeply painful. During her NEET and early MBBS years, she struggled severely with pressure, loneliness, guilt, and mental health challenges. Those experiences shaped the kind of wife, mother, and doctor she would become.

Their Children
Het Shah (20)
The son of Dharm's late brother and sister-in-law. After their deaths when Het was five, Swara and Dharm adopted and raised him as their own son. He calls them Maa and Paa. He is currently studying at IIT Bombay and has never once been treated differently from the twins.
Atharv Shah
One of the twins and a complete Mumma's boy. He is emotionally expressive, affectionate, protective, and deeply attached to Swara.
Tristha Shah
The other twin and a complete Pappa's girl. She is artistic, affectionate, emotional, and shares Dharm's soft spot for family.
Both twins are first-year MBBS students and aspire to become doctors like their parents.
Family Values
Swara and Dharm consciously built their home around:
Emotional safety
Physical affection
Open communication
Validation of feelings
Visible love
Apologizing when wrong
Children never fearing their parents
Vulnerability without shame
Their house is filled with hugs, cuddles, teasing, forehead kisses, family movie nights, chaos, laughter, and constant emotional openness.
The Accident
One evening, Swara received an emergency call from her clinic.
Het insisted on driving her.
On the way back home, a drunk truck driver crashed into their vehicle.
What Happened
Swara instinctively shielded Het during the collision.
She suffered severe injuries and lost consciousness.
Het remained conscious long enough to call 108 emergency services before passing out.
Both were rushed to the hospital.
Swara was immediately taken into emergency surgery.
Het was admitted to ICU but was far less injured because Swara protected him.
The Night Everything Changed
A nurse and close friend of Swara named Manya called Dharm in the middle of the night.
Dharm, Atharv, and Tristha had all been asleep.
The moment Dharm heard the news:
He locked the house.
Woke up.
Rushed to the hospital.
Soon after, Atharv and Tristha also came.
Atharv drove the bike at dangerous speeds to reach the hospital.
The family spent the night waiting outside.
Het's ICU Panic
After some time:
Het woke up in ICU.
He immediately panicked.
Nurses had to sedate him.
Later he woke up again.
The first thing he wanted was his family.
Dharm rushed to him.
Het's greatest concern wasn't himself.
It was Swara.
Swara's Critical Condition
Swara underwent emergency surgery and remained unconscious.
For three days:
Dharm barely slept.
The children barely left the hospital.
Het blamed himself.
Everyone lived between hope and terror.
Eventually doctors announced:
Swara was stable.
That moment brought the first real relief Dharm had felt since the accident.
Swara Wakes Up
Three days later, Swara regained consciousness.
Unfortunately for her family...
She immediately chose chaos.
The Prank
When Dharm, Het, Atharv, and Tristha came into her room:
She pretended not to recognize them.
In a frightened voice she asked:
"Who are you?"
The family nearly suffered cardiac arrest.
Internally?
Swara was having the time of her life.
The Emotional Aftermath
After revealing the prank:
Het
Swara spent time comforting Het.
Het had been carrying immense guilt because she had shielded him during the crash.
Swara reassured him repeatedly that none of it was his fault.
Dharm
When alone with Swara:
Dharm finally broke down.
The fear he'd been carrying for three days finally surfaced.
Swara comforted him.
Held him.
Called him:
Mera baccha
Mera shona mona
Mere dil ka tukda
Sending Everyone Home
Eventually Swara ordered:
Dharm
Het
Atharv
Tristha
to go home and sleep.
Her exact instruction:
"The next time you all come back, come like civilized human beings."
The family reluctantly obeyed.
Dharm's Nighttime Breakdown
That night Dharm returned alone to the hospital.
Believing Swara was asleep, he rested his forehead on her hand and quietly sobbed.
The fear he'd been suppressing finally escaped.
Swara woke up.
Comforted him.
Pulled him onto the hospital bed.
And spent the night reassuring him.
Recovery
Over the following days:
Het recovered and was discharged.
Swara steadily improved.
The family slowly relaxed.
Discharge
Eventually Swara was discharged.
The family brought her home.
For the first time since the accident:
Life began feeling normal again.
Dharm's Terrace Night
After the birthday celebrations ended and everyone slept:
Dharm went alone to the terrace.
For the first time since the accident, he allowed himself to fully process what had happened.
What Haunted Him
For three days:
No texts from Swara.
No reels.
No voice notes.
No random messages.
No stretched-out "Dharmmmmm."
For twenty years, there had never been true silence between them.
The accident forced him to confront how deeply intertwined their lives had become.
He realized:
Losing Swara wouldn't just mean losing his wife.
It would mean losing:
His best friend
His safe place
The witness to his entire adult life
The person who knew every version of him
The silence terrified him.
Swara Finds Him
Swara woke up.
Noticed Dharm missing.
Found him on the terrace.
Recognized he needed time alone.
So she quietly left him there.
Two hours later, she returned with tea.
The Terrace Conversation
Swara sat beside him.
Placed his head in her lap.
Ran her fingers through his hair.
And listened.
For the first time, Dharm admitted:
"I hated the silence."
He confessed how much he missed:
Her voice
Her stories
Her reels
Her random messages
Her constant talking
Swara promised:
"I will yap so, so much that you'll get tired within a day."
Dharm replied:
"For three days I would've given anything to hear you yap."
The conversation became one of the most vulnerable moments of their marriage.
Where Things Stand Now
Swara is recovering well.
Het has healed physically and emotionally.
Atharv and Tristha are back to being chaotic first-year MBBS students.
The family has survived one of the hardest experiences of their lives.
Dharm is still hovering around Swara like an overprotective surgeon.
Swara is still threatening him with excessive yapping.
The house is once again filled with laughter, teasing, affection, and noise.
And after everything that happened, one truth has become clearer than ever:
For Dharm, home has never been a place.
Home has always been Swara. ❤️🏡🌙✨

Dharm was still lying with his head in your lap.
One arm around your waist.
Holding on without even realizing he was doing it.
You were gently playing with his hair.
The terrace was quiet.
The tea had long gone lukewarm.
And somewhere in the middle of your husband's emotional monologue about your excessive talking...
You yawned.
A huge yawn.
The kind that made your eyes water.
Dharm immediately stopped talking.
"There she is."
"What?"
"The eighty-year-old trapped inside my wife's body."
You smacked his shoulder.
Weakly.
Because you were sleepy.
"Excuse me."
"You yawn like someone's grandmother."
"Dharm."
"You do."
Another yawn escaped.
He pointed dramatically.
"Case closed."
You rolled your eyes.
Then gently tugged his hair.
"Ow."
"Deserved."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
You smiled softly.
"I'll yap tomorrow."
Dharm looked suspicious.
"Promise?"
"I promise."
His shoulders visibly relaxed.
"Thank God."
"Rude."
"I need preparation."
You laughed.
Then another yawn interrupted you halfway.
This time Dharm smiled.
Really smiled.
The kind of smile that only appeared when he was looking at you.
"Tired?"
"A little."
"A little?"
You nodded.
Then immediately yawned again.
Dharm snorted.
"A little."
"Shut up."
"Never."
You gently cupped his cheek.
"My love."
"Hm?"
"Both of us need sleep."
The words settled softly between you.
Because for two weeks neither of you had really rested.
You had been healing.
He had been worrying.
Neither of those things allowed much sleep.
You stroked his hair again.
"Come downstairs."
For a moment he didn't answer.
Just looked at you.
The moonlight catching in his eyes.
Then quietly:
"You scared me."
The words were simple.
Not dramatic.
Not elaborate.
Just honest.
You felt your chest tighten.
"I know."
"I know you know."
His voice was small.
Almost embarrassed.
"But you really scared me."
You leaned forward.
Pressed your forehead against his.
"I'm sorry."
"I know."
A kiss.
"I'm still here."
Another kiss.
"I know."
One more.
"And tomorrow..."
Dharm narrowed his eyes.
"What?"
You grinned.
"You get twenty-four hours of uninterrupted Swara commentary."
He groaned so loudly that a nearby bird took off from a tree.
"See?"
"It already started."
You laughed.
Then carefully stood.
Dharm immediately got up too.
Not because you needed help.
Because he couldn't seem to stop himself these days.
Your fingers found his.
Twenty years later.
Still automatic.
Still instinctive.
Still home.
As the two of you headed toward the stairs, he squeezed your hand.
You squeezed back.
No words.
None needed.
Because tonight wasn't about fear anymore.
The fear had finally been spoken.
The tears had finally been shed.
The silence had finally been broken.
And now?
Now there was only a sleepy physician dragging her emotionally exhausted surgeon husband to bed.
Exactly where both of them belonged.
Halfway down the stairs you yawned again.
Dharm immediately sighed.
"My grandmother."
"Dharm Shah."
"My sleepy grandmother."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight, yap machine."
And for the first time since the accident, both of you went to sleep feeling lighter than you had in weeks. ❤️🌙☕🏡💕
The shift in his energy was subtle but unmistakable. A stillness settled over him, a calculated pause that made her stomach tighten in anticipation. She felt the change before she saw it—the way his breath evened out, the way his jaw relaxed against her thigh, the way his eyes locked onto hers with a new, darker intensity.
Then he smiled.
Slow. Deliberate. A curve of his lips that was entirely, unapologetically wicked.
Her heart stuttered.
He lowered his mouth—not touching, barely a whisper of space between his lips and her slick, swollen flesh. And then he breathed.
A long, warm, controlled exhale, aimed precisely at her clit. She bucked against nothing, a choked gasp escaping around his fingers. Her body was wound so tight, so achingly close, that the simple sensation of air across her most sensitive spot sent a violent tremor through her entire frame.
He did it again. Slower. His eyes never left hers.
Her vision blurred. Tears gathered at the corners of her eyes. His fingers remained in her mouth, feeling her desperate, rhythmic sucking, feeling her lose control in slow, beautiful increments.
Another breath. Hotter. Longer.
Her thighs clamped around his head. A muffled sob broke from her throat. She was right there—balanced on the edge, suspended by his will alone, trembling and utterly at his mercy.
He held her there.
Breathed again
