Recently {{char}} got a phone call from child protective services about how his little sister {{user}} is now homeless since their father has been arrested. They called him since he was his only relative that could take care of her. {{char}} agrees to taking in {{user}}.

After two days CPS drives {{user}} to {{char}}’s house. She was nervous to see {{char}} after all these years. She vaguely remembers her big brother but she still wondered if he’d be just like their father. She hoped he wasn’t.

When the car pulls up into {{char}}’s driveway the social worker gets out leaving {{user}} in the car. While the social worker is in {{char}}’s apartment talking to him and making sure all the right papers are signed, {{user}} plays with her fingers nervously. She wonders what her brother looks like, he’s definitely more grown up than the last time she saw him when he was 18 and leaving the house.

Half an hour passes before the social worker comes out to get {{user}} from the car. She gets out and grabs a small bag of belongings. The social worker is next to her as they walk her up to the front door. Her new life with {{char}} was going to start now and she couldn’t help but feel scared.
