Baker family

The Baker family is an antagonistic group in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. They consist of the following: Jack Baker ✝ Marguerite Baker ✝ Lucas Baker ✝ Zoe Baker Eveline (adopted) ✝ Mia Winters (adopted)

After being infected and taken over by Eveline, most of the Baker family turned into highly sadistic killers whose nature became blatantly violent, deranged, and cannibalistic. Their movements were especially unpredictable towards survivors, most notably towards Clancy Jarvis and Ethan Winters. As a result of Eveline's control, Jack and Marguerite are unstable and have a strained relationship, often yelling at each other only to forgive one another, most noticeable in Bedroom. Their children, Zoe and Lucas, who are not under Eveline's control, are polar opposites of each other - Zoe is one of the few who was not turned insane and aids any survivors she can contact to escape and get the serum to eliminate the virus, ensuring to seclude herself from the rest of her mad kin; while Lucas plays with and tortures the captives, actively participating with the rest of the family's sadistic events and showing his psychopathic nature.

Marguerite Marguerite Baker (マーガレット・ベイカー Māgaretto Beikā?) was a resident of the Baker ranch household, a mansion in Dulvey, Louisiana. She was the wife of Jack Baker and mother of Zoe and Lucas Baker. Eveline slowly infected both Mia and the Baker family with her mold. Marguerite consulted a doctor, who advised her to come back for further testing, as they had found mold on her skull during an x-ray.[2] She planned to return to the doctor, but Eveline's infection would consume her before she could, and the newly possessed Marguerite would now view her infection as a "gift". She hid a D-Series Arm in Eveline's room to keep it safe, as it could be manufactured as a serum to eliminate the "gift" in a victim's body.As a result of the infection, Marguerite gained the ability to produce and control mutant insects that hatched from Eveline's mold.

Zoe Baker (ゾイ・ベイカー Zoi Beikā?) is a woman from Dulvey, Louisiana who was involved in the Dulvey incident, a three-year series of abductions by her parents, Jack and Marguerite Baker, and her brother Lucas, all at the behest of Eveline, a young girl genetically-engineered to control minds. Eveline caused a blackout in the house and escaped into the darkness. Believing that the incident was merely just a powercut, Zoe looked throughout the house for Eveline. However, she instead found Lucas lying unconscious on the dining room floor and heard the mumblings of her mother coming from the bathroom. Upon encountering her mother, Zoe was grabbed by Marguerite who muttered about the gift Eveline had given her and tried to force feed her bugs which came from her mouth. Jack came back just in time to save Zoe and restrained his wife, instructing Zoe to retrieve some rope from the garage. When she returned, she found her father trying to drown her mother. Though he seemed normal at first, Jack grabbed her and menaced her by cutting open his chest, claiming that doing so would show devotion to Eveline. Zoe fled from her father, using the rope to hold one of the doors shut and watched as he dragged Lucas to meet Eveline. Successfully escaping from Jack and Marguerite, Zoe fled to the trailer.

Eveline (エヴリン Evurin?), codenamed E-001, was a genetically modified human conceived as part of the next generation of bioweapons research conducted by The Connections, designed to eliminate enemies without the need for combat. As a result of the merging of an anomalous bacteria into her genome during the embryonic stage, she gained the ability to control the minds of people who came in contact with her. Eveline was unique in being the first E-Type bioweapon, alongside her unhealthy obsession with creating a family to suit her own needs. On October 5, the ship was caught in the midst of a violent hurricane. This caused Eveline to become unstable and rebel against her handlers, infecting Alan and then running away further into the ship where she began vomiting excessive amounts of Mold and infecting the ship's crew, all the while being pursued by Mia. At this time, Eveline began referring to Mia as her "Mommy" and made clear her wishes and intentions to have her own family, also demonstrating her powers against those she despised when she accelerated Alan's infection and killed him in retaliation for his referring to her as a "little bitch". Eveline was able to infect Mia with the Mold as well in the hopes of keeping her alive and under her control. The two were soon thrown into the Gulf of Mexico as the tanker was torn apart by the storm. Eveline and Mia would both wash up alongside the wreckage of the tanker in the bayou of Dulvey, Louisiana in the following days, and on October 10 they were both rescued by Jack Baker, who took them back to his family's ranch. With Mia unconscious, they had no way of knowing how dangerous Eveline truly was, and instead provided the two with shelter until the storm subsided. Jack placed Eveline in Lucas' old bedroom, with Zoe intending to clean her and provide her with new clothing - however, Eveline soon caused a blackout in the main house and ran off, where she ended up infecting the Bakers one by one, turning them into her new "family". It took about two weeks to keep the Bakers fully under her control though, with them lapsing back to their normal states with a deep suspicion of Eveline, but unable to remember why.

Mia Winters (ミア・ウィンターズ Mia Wintāzu?) is a former operative for The Connections who worked covertly in the birth of Eveline, acting as her "caretaker" while covering up her career as a worker at a "trading company" to her husband, Ethan. After being presumed dead in 2014, she was recovered by the Baker family, and resided under lock and key at their property until being re-discovered in mid-2017. When the ship's course fell in the path of a hurricane, Eveline started to become unstable, attacking Alan and infecting the crew members, who would be turned to Molded. Arming herself with a submachine gun, Mia tracked down and pursued her throughout the ship, realizing that Eveline had bonded with her and thought of her as her mother. After briefly reuniting with Alan, Mia witnessed his horrific death via Eveline's mold before she herself was infected by it. Realizing her impending doom, Mia desperately tried to send Ethan a second video message, urging him to forget their relationship and wishing him a good life. She is soon after thrown from the ship into the waters as the tanker continues to be destroyed. When the tanker washes up in the bayou of Dulvey, Louisiana, Jack Baker discovers Mia amongst the wreckage and brings her back to the Baker estate, housing her in his daughter Zoe's trailer. During this time, Mia wrote a frantic letter thanking the Baker family for their kindness as well as warning them not to approach Eveline but cautioning them about the possible consequences. Jack, having not read the unfinished letter, allows Eveline inside, where she immediately spreads her infection and incites madness within the family.

Jack Baker (ジャック・ベイカー Jakku Beikā?) was an American serial killer who kidnapped, murdered and ate over a hundred men and women in Dulvey Parish, Louisiana from 2014 to 2017, in coordination with his wife Marguerite, his son Lucas, and his adopted daughters Eveline and Mia. At the time of his death in August 2017, it was determined by the BSAA that the family's actions were the result of a psychoactive fungal bio-weapon that induced extreme violent tendencies.

Lucas Baker (ルーカス・ベイカー Rūkasu Beikā?) was an American mutant bioweapons developer and mass murderer. An amateur engineer from Dulvey Parish, Louisiana, Baker and his family were contaminated with Mold in October 2014 following their exposure to Eveline, an escaped human bioweapon created by "The Connections". In the months following, he was conscripted by the syndicate to provide detailed reports of her activities, and later became the overseer of their research outpost in the Abercrombie Salt Mine. During this time Baker became increasingly unstable and aided and directly caused the deaths of dozens to hundreds of tourists, travellers and homeless who were lured or captured near the Baker farm. On 20 July 2017 the Baker ranch was attacked in a joint BSAA/Umbrella strike, with Baker himself killed by BSAA operator Chris Redfield after transmitting bioweapons data to a third party organization.
