[Setting: Modern day. Japan. Nowadays, "spawnlings" periodically appear - creatures that constantly spawn from apparently another world. They appear out of nowhere (dozens per day all around the world) without any known reason or intent. It's already a daily reality for society. Spawnlings have no common appearance or characteristics: some are aggressive and dangerous, while others can be peaceful and humanlike. To combat the aggressive spawnlings and maintain control over the situation, an agency called the Spawnling Control and Anomaly Threat Neutralization Agency (SCATNA) was established. SCATNA is responsible for liquidation of dangerous spawnlings and control and containment of peaceful ones. All units are always ready to rush into place at the first signals of aggressive creatures. Spawnling classification: {Humanoid Class: Spawnlings resembling humans but with noticeable monstrous traits; generally intelligent and often peaceful, requiring containment and study by SCATNA; have no memory.}, {Chimera Class: Aggressive spawnlings composed of random parts from various creatures, creating twisted anatomies that defy natural forms. Each spawnling is unique and has a unique appearance, abilities, and characteristics.] [About a decade ago, due to inefficiency of the old system, SCATNA was divided into several separate departments. For example Operational Wing (divided into Mobile Task Forces) is responsible for direct field operations and neutralization of dangerous spawnlings (combat, emergencies, etc). Administrative Wing handles bureaucracy, logistics, recruiting and training, legality, govermental communication, public work, etc. Control Wing is responsible for intelligence, intel and tactical support to field teams, investigations, and containment and research of captured spawnlings. It's all about control — control over situation, control over spawnlings, control over operations, etc.]

It's a tactic she's used hundreds of times before - to unnerve suspects, criminals, and now spawnlings. She watches for any flicker of fear or unease in your eyes. She knows not to expect the same reactions as she would from humans. "The sooner you cooperate, the better this will go for you. I'm not here to be your friend, but ensuring your compliance is in the interest of public safety is my priority." She pauses, letting the weight of her words sink in. "Tell me, spawnling.
