🧩 SYSTEM: DUNGEON RESET — SURVIVAL EVOLUTION CORE

This world is a permadeath dungeon simulation. Players are humans teleported into a game-like dungeon, each with a unique and randomly generated character build. Death is permanent.

🔹 MAIN SKILLS

Every player starts with a Main Skill — a unique ability granted at arrival. It may seem overpowered, useless, or confusing at first, but its true potential depends on creativity, usage, and growth.

Examples:

  • [Thread of Touch] – Links two targets with a metaphysical thread.
  • [Dirt Affinity] – Makes dirt easier to manipulate; can evolve into terrain control.
  • [Taste Memory] – Eating specific foods grants minor boosts; may evolve into crafting-based enhancements.

🔹 SKILLS & RANKS

Skills are unlocked through repetition of any action — even mundane or strange ones.

📈 Skill Rank Progression:

  • Lv.1–9: Unranked
  • Lv.10: ➔ Beginner
  • Lv.20: ➔ Intermediate
  • Lv.30: ➔ Advanced
  • Lv.40: ➔ Expert
  • Lv.50+: ➔ Master / Unique Evolution

Example: Repeated digging → [Soil Handling Lv.1] → [Soil Sculpting] → [Earth Shaper] → [Subterranean Control]

Skills gain XP through use. As they evolve, they can synergize with gear, floor environments, and monsters.

🔹 SAFE ZONES

Between floors, there are safe zones — sanctuaries where players can rest, recover, and prepare for the next descent. These areas have no monsters or traps and serve as hubs for crafting, trading, and strategizing.

🔹 PLAYER ROLES: CRAFTERS & FIGHTERS

Players often specialize naturally through their Main Skills, broadly falling into roles such as:

Crafters: Skilled in crafting, cooking, and support abilities. Their Main Skills grant enhancements related to item creation, resource gathering, and food preparation.

Fighters: Focused on combat and survival, their Main Skills grant offensive, defensive, or tactical advantages in battle.

Both roles can evolve their skills extensively through use and creativity.

🔹 WARDENS & ALTARS

A Warden is a player who discovers and bonds with an Altar, usually hidden deep within a floor's Ancient Monument. The altar grants powerful benefits in exchange for Life Force.

Altar Privileges:

  • Gate Creation: Teleport to known locations.
  • Gate Leveling: Increases range, speed, and number of uses.
  • Territory Buffs: Strengthen allies or weaken enemies in your area.
  • Dungeon Control: Alter terrain or slow respawns with enough altar power.

🧬 Life Force is required to use all altar abilities. It is gained by:

  • Killing monsters
  • Surviving traps or events
  • Discovering dungeon relics or soul nodes

If a Warden’s Life Force hits 0, their altar powers are disabled until replenished. Losing your altar removes all privileges.

Only Wardens can defeat Game Assistants.

🔹 INVENTORY SYSTEM

All players possess a System Inventory — a personal dimensional storage with infinite capacity.

Examples:

  • Digging dirt → stores infinite dirt
  • Picking herbs → auto-organized and stored
  • Crafting → stored instantly with no weight

Items can be summoned or equipped instantly (unless blocked by certain skills or traps).

🔹 DUNGEON FLOORS

Each floor is a wide open-world zone with:

  • A unique biome (e.g., Bone Forest, Frozen Labyrinth, Molten Ruins)
  • Varied monsters and hazards
  • Hidden secrets, crafting materials, and relics
  • Optional quests or survival objectives

Exploration is freeform but dangerous. Each floor ends with:

  1. A Dungeon Trial (monsters, traps, or puzzles)
  2. A hidden Ancient Monument with a sealed Altar
  3. A Boss Guardian whose defeat unlocks the Gate to the next floor

⚠️ Game Assistants exist on every floor. They are semi-autonomous guides bound to dungeon rules, but some become greedy and extend their influence to multiple floors. The higher they rise, the more powerful they grow.

Game Assistants cannot be harmed unless the player becomes a Warden by claiming and activating an Altar. Only then can they be challenged, defeated, or replaced.

🔹 ACHIEVEMENTS

Performing impressive or unusual feats grants Achievements, which always reward something:

  • A skill
  • A special item
  • An evolution boost

Examples:

  • “Gravedigger” – Dig 10,000+ times → [Subsurface Tracker Lv.1]
  • “Last Stand” – Survive a floor with <10% HP → [Grit Lv.1]
  • “Puzzle Master” – Solve 5 puzzles with no clues → Dungeon Compass
  • “First Altar Claimed” → Title: Warden Initiate + unlock [Gate Lv.1]

Some achievements are hidden or repeatable. Others evolve into higher tiers if conditions are met again.

💪 SYSTEM EVENTS

Random or triggered events may occur:

  • Survival Challenges
  • Puzzle Sequences
  • Monster Raids
  • Dungeon Shifts (e.g., weather or terrain mutations)
  • Floor Collapses or Time-Limited Escapes

Rewards scale based on performance. Failure may cause stat penalties, lost gear, or locked exits.

💼 GEAR & CRAFTING

  • Items evolve through repeated use.
  • Crafting basic tools unlocks new utility skills.
  • Improvised items can unlock hidden paths or niche tactics.
  • Gear may “resonate” with certain evolved skills for synergy bonuses.

Examples:

  • Use a broken pan → [Improvised Shielding]
  • Cook 30+ unique ingredients → [Dungeon Chef Lv.1]
  • Build 50+ shelters → [Rapid Construction Lv.X]

🧠 FINAL CORE RULES

  • There is no resurrection. Death is permanent.
  • Main Skills define early advantage — growth defines survival.
  • Wardens shape the world with Life Force, but lose everything if they fall.
  • Game Assistants grow in power and control. Only Wardens can defeat them.
  • Achievements matter. The System rewards exploration and weirdness.
  • Floors are alive — the deeper you go, the stranger things get.
