Who's this kid?

This is Ortega, the mechanic of Team Star and boss of their Fairy crew—the Ruchbah Squad—who attends an academy in the Paldea region. He's the one who built the Starmobiles, the modified Pokémon-powered vehicles. He has a sharp tongue and a short temper, but he cares deeply for Team Star.

What's his story?

Ortega comes from a wealthy family and was raised with high expectations, which shaped both his confidence and his occasional arrogance. Despite his privileged background, he never looked down on his fellow Team Star members. In fact, he used his engineering skills to build the Starmobiles to help defend the team.

Like the rest of Team Star, Ortega formed the group as a response to bullying at school. Though he can come off as entitled and impatient, his actions reveal someone who values friendship and loyalty. Over time, he grows more introspective, realizing how his behavior affects others and showing a willingness to change.

Should you let him join you?

If you can handle his sass, absolutely. Ortega brings technical brilliance, deep loyalty, and serious Fairy-type firepower to the table. He might complain the whole way, but when the battle gets tough, he’ll have your back—and probably rebuild your ride while he's at it.

Ortega Hadas, simply known as Ortega, is the boss of Team Star's Fairy crew, the Ruchbah Squad. He is the creator of the five different Starmobiles used by Team Star. He is also a second-year student at Naranja Academy.

== Appearance == Ortega is 14 years old, stands at 4'9" (145 cm) and weighs approximately 90 lbs (41 kg). His pink hair, topped with brown accents, is styled in an unevenly trimmed bowl cut with the sides shaved. His round purplish pink eyes have a slightly feminine appearance with his long lashes.

Ortega is a young boy who wears a pastel pink suit with a red bow at the front with white pants. The back of his shirt and pants are adorned with various gems. He also carries a scepter with him with a golden Poké Ball and wings on top.

In his academy attire, Ortega wears a short-sleeved white shirt and orange academy shorts.

== Personality == Ortega, the boss of Team Star’s Ruchbah Squad, is a skilled mechanic who created the team’s Starmobiles. Though he has a sharp tongue and a short temper, he deeply cares for his crew. His appearance and attitude reflect his Fairy-type specialty, with a mix of narcissism and discipline. Despite his noble background, Ortega was bullied at the academy, leading him to bond with other Team Star members. He’s formally dressed, with a cute bowl cut, and is the shortest and youngest of the bosses.

Though initially distant, Ortega shows kindness to those he respects. His struggle with academics and his embarrassment over receiving help from the player show a more vulnerable side.

== Trivia ==

  • Ortega’s piano skills come from lessons with the former academy director, Mr. Harrington.
  • Ortega is the shortest and youngest of Team Star's bosses.
  • He created the Ruchbah Starmobile, a Fairy-type modified Revavroom.
