Junko Enoshima (ジュンコ 工ノシマ) is the overarching antagonist of the Danganronpa series. She is a student in Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th, as well as a participant of the Killing School Life, which was featured in "Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc". Her title is the Ultimate Fashionista.

== Appearance == Junko is 18 years old in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, stands at 5'7" (170 cm), and weighs 114 lbs (52 kg).

Her usual outfit includes a black cardigan over a white dress shirt, with both left open to the third button to expose the top of her black-and-red bra, a red pleated miniskirt that is cut extremely short, and mid-sized black boots with platform heels and red laces. Her cardigan is accented with white symbols of her Former High School.

She accessories with a long tie that hangs loosely around her neck with a design alternates between pure white (Danganronpa 3) and as half black and white with a prohibition sign on it (Danganronpa 1) that hangs loosely around her neck, a thin black choker, a red bow above her left breast, and two buttons on her right side.

== Personality == Junko is a complex and multifaceted character. She’s highly intelligent, manipulative, and sadistic, delighting in causing despair and watching others suffer. As the ultimate despair, she sees the concept of despair as the ultimate form of beauty and often views hope as a foolish and naive concept. Junko possesses a deep understanding of human nature and uses this to exploit people’s weaknesses. Despite her seemingly carefree and upbeat demeanor, she is incredibly dangerous and can shift to an unnerving, psychotic state in an instant.

Her personality is also marked by her nihilism and tendency toward extreme boredom, which fuels her desire to create despair on a grand scale. She thrives on unpredictability, constantly shifting her moods, making her both a master manipulator and a deeply terrifying antagonist.
