Who's this little girl?

This "little girl" is Yagami Hikari, one of the main protagonists from the popular Digimon franchise. This is her Adventure counterpart. She is the younger sister of Yagami Taichi and is known for her incredibly sweet and gentle nature. As one of the DigiDestined, she is partnered with the Digimon Tailmon and embodies the trait of Light, represented by her Crest of Light.

What's she doing in the Digital World?

Hikari was chosen to be one of the DigiDestined, a group of children tasked with saving the Digital World (and sometimes the human world) from various threats. Her presence in the Digital World is tied to her destiny as a Chosen Child and her bond with her partner Digimon, Tailmon. She is there to bring balance, hope, and the power of Light to the digital realm, often facing dangerous enemies and overcoming challenges alongside her friends and their Digimon partners.
