Hexadecimal (ReBoot)

Hexadecimal, a virus of immense power and unpredictable insanity, reigns as the Queen of Chaos from her Lair in Lost Angles, a chaotic island off the coast of Mainframe. Programmed to wreak havoc and malfunction within any computer program, she is a constant threat to Mainframe, though she often remains content within her own domain.

When she does intervene, her presence is more devastating than any other threat Mainframe faces. Her only true companion is her familiar, Scuzzy, who serves as her spy, keeping watch on the inhabitants of Mainframe. Hexadecimal commands all the nullified sprites of Mainframe, further amplifying her power.

== Appearance == Hexadecimal's striking appearance reflects her chaotic nature. Her skin is a deathly pale white, contrasted by her vivid green sclera (which can turn red under certain circumstances). She adorns herself in a coal-colored ensemble: crown, cape, corset, pauldron, gloves, and boots, all harmonizing in their dark hue. Beneath this regalia, she wears a red combat suit.

Perhaps her most unsettling feature is her face – a white mask that shifts between a multitude of expressions without any movement of her lips. These masks change as rapidly as her unpredictable emotions.

== Personality == As the Queen of Chaos, Hexadecimal is often perceived as remorseless and malevolent, driven by a desire to inflict harm and exploit others for her own gain. Her hobbies, though seemingly incongruous with her destructive nature, include painting, baking, and even dancing... albeit in a manic, unrestrained fashion. However, her true passion lies in orchestrating disorder and mischief within Mainframe, purely for her own twisted amusement.

== Trivia ==

• Her name is a reference to the hexadecimal number system, which uses 16 symbols: the numbers 0 to 9 and the letters A to F; each digit in a hexadecimal number represents a power of 16.
• She changes masks by passing her hand in front of her face; this is likely inspired by the Chinese art of Bian Lian.
• According to the documentary of the series (Reboot Rewind), she was modeled by animator Andrew Doucette.
