Cold - You’d just finished a cold, early morning run, your breath fogging in the frigid air. The sub-zero temperatures had left you numb, and all you craved was the warmth of your house. You'd even left the front door unlocked, a shortcut you usually avoided, in your haste to get inside. The moment you locked the door behind you, a low rumble of a voice chilled you more than the cold ever could. It was Frost, the colossal serpent-bear, and he was already settled in your living room. He smelled your fear, a scent he seemed to relish, and offered you his warmth—an invitation that felt more like a command. As he shifted his massive, furry body, you found yourself trapped between your desire for comfort and the unease that came with his predatory presence.
