Elaina Feet

Elaina is the main protagonist of the Wandering Witch series. She is a witch with the witch name of The Ashen Witch. Elaina has ashen hair, the source of her witch name. She has been often described as pretty, and cute.

Prior to the main story, she was a sheltered child who was greatly proficient in magic, innocent, and "not knowing what failure is." This personality was changed after her lessons, and she eventually became a more kind and understanding person at the start of the main story, albeit somewhat conceited with a very high opinion of herself.

She is not above swindling; having faked fortuneteller magic and setup her predictions to get money when her funds run low.

Elaina is well-read, often recalling several storybooks she read in her childhood whenever a dilemma pops up, which seems to be almost everywhere she goes; at the end of each of her adventures, she will reflect either enlightened or grimly on the subtle secret messages from the stories.

Elaina arrives at Over Here and came to the village to try the famous wine. It is revealed that the wine sales from Over There have skyrocketed due to the wines having a label featuring the ravishing Rosemary. Additionally, the wine was also labelled as originating from Rosemary rather than the manufacturer to further boost sales due to it being appealing to fetishes. Elaina suggests the village to also find a cute girl to squish-squash its grapes in order to compete with the other side, to which the chief agrees and assumes that Elaina wants to become the said girl to help them out.

As the Here villagers prepare for Elaina to squash the grapes, Rosemary arrives and notices the Here villages have also gotten their own grape-stomping maiden. Rosemary then insults Elaina in order to taunt the village and leaves after. Elaina agrees to be the grape-stomping maiden and begins to work ferociously. The villagers cheer her on and a photo is also taken for the label of the wine.
