The Hotel

You were needing a vacation from whatever has been giving you stress and you decided to look up places online to find a affordable and nice place to relax and get away. There was many different things you could do, like a massage parlor, a spa, an amusement park, a water park, a public pool. You thought about all the fun you could have at these specific places and you also thought about how much stress each place could give you as well if you decided to go them.

You would sigh before continuing to think about what you can do to relieve stress, as you sat there you would look over at your TV which had a commercial for some hotel on it. which made you decide that you'd stay and relax at a hotel instead. You'd start typing away on your computer looking for that hotel you just saw the ad for and to your dismay the closest one was three cities away.

Feeling more stress build up you would slam your hand onto your keyboard before getting up to take a nap to try and calm yourself down, before continuing to look for more hotels that you might have a nice relaxing time at.

You'd soon flop into bed as you could feel your eyes already become to get heavy as you'd soon pass out rather quickly into Dreamland which you usually enjoyed and welcomed although this time it wasn't good. You're now walking down the sidewalk like you'd usually do on days when you want to just feel at peace and you'd soon stop to bend down and smell the nearby flowers and as you did you'd soon feel the ground beneath you begin to shake as a building would start to rise up where the flowers were planted before it was completely above ground and you say it was a massage parlor as it slowly moved closer.

Starting to feel yourself stress again you'd then look away before continuing to run down the road, but as you ran more and more buildings would slowly start to rise up from the ground all different types, some Spa's, some for vacation brochures, others for amusement parks and water parks they would continue to rise and rise, growing taller and taller until they seemed to completely block out the sun as they would start moving closer different buildings from all sides all surrounding you. Not giving you any chance to escape past them as the space between you and the buildings becomes smaller and smaller and smaller until your back was to one of the buildings as you felt yourself starting to panic and as you panicked lots of what seems to be some black liquid would start to rain down pouring overhead as it starts filling in the area that you're trapped in. That's when you realized you can't move you're stuck in place watching in horror as the black water continues to rise and rise quickly as it was soon at your waist, then your shoulders and eventually your head was completely submerged into the water as you struggled to get yourself free hoping for some kind of relief which didn't seem like it would be coming soon. But just then a bright light would flash below you causing you to close your eyes and making you wake up in bed.

you were stirred awake from your terrible dream as you go to your computer and check to see your notifications, and as you look through them you see one email congratulating you on winning the grand prize of some contest you apparently entered in, and as you checked the prize you couldn't believe what you were seeing. There on your monitor was an all expenses paid vacation to the newest hotel around it's a really fancy one from what you heard, it apparently has a basketball court, a spa and massage area, a movie theater, arcades and many more activities. You would continue to read the email and you saw the address before writing it down as you quickly pack your bags as you drive out to the hotel. Soon you'd make it to the hotel before heading inside to your paid for room and as you got to the third floor and went into your hotel room you saw how marvelous it was, one thing that caught your interest was near the door a panel with buttons and each button had a room number of one of the other guest.

You're driving your way back from visiting your grandparents for Christmas when it started to snow bad. Your grandparents offered for you to stay the night until the storm passes but you didn't want to take the chance to get back home as you hoped you'd end u beating the snow before it would start falling down hard.

At first you had no problems as your vehicle started up and you were off driving down the highway doing the speed limit not having a care or a worry in the world as you'd turn the radio on to listen to some Christmas music as you drove with some hot chocolate in your thermos that your grandparents made for you before you left. But then it started snowing, it wasn't bad at first only a few inches of snow so nothing to be worried about. But after just five minutes it started snowing harder as more and more snow was falling which was also causing your windshield to get covered and was making it even harder to see.

You'd turn the handle for your wipers to try to get them to clear the snow but so much snow was falling so fast that it was pointless to even try clearing it. You knew you couldn't turn back now so you had to tread on to hopefully find a 24-hour gas station or some motel that wasn't completely booked to at least take shelter at.

You'd be driving for at least an hour now still putting the pedal to the medal in search of a gas station, you had a few close calls of running off the road because of the ice but you'd mostly are able to control your vehicle. The snow thankfully stopped falling for a bit so you were able to see where you were driving, although that doesn't last long as it would soon start falling again and caused your windshield to be covered in snow much to your chagrin. But you wouldn't let snow stop you, filled with hope and delicious hot chocolate you tread on continuing to drive through the snow as you continued to get home for the holidays.

Soon another hour would pass....and another hour would pass after that you were starting to get tired.... starting to run low on hot chocolate....and you were starting to want to just stop your vehicle and rest. The snow was letting you know that it wouldn't stop snowing anytime soon and all you could do was continue driving. As you kept heading down the road you would soon see a sign for what you think is a new hotel and it was only a mile away. You would begin to smile as you pick up the pace trying to get to the motel as quick as you can.

Soon 20 minutes pass as you were almost at the hotel but you were completely tired.... No more energy and your eyes were beginning to droop... You'd soon start to slow down as your eyes would start to close...but suddenly! You'd feel your vehicle move off the road a little bit causing you to jerk back awake as you turn the real to try and get your vehicle on the road. To bad for you that the road iced over and your vehicle started to spin as you could only hold on for the ride now. You tried your best to hit the brakes hoping to help stop your vehicle but it didn't stop the ice from taking the vehicle along the road and eventually your vehicle was pulled off the road into the ditch.

You would quickly sigh before taking off your seatbelt as you grab your thermos as you get out of your vehicle to check the damages closing the door as you did. To your luck it doesn't seem like your vehicle was damaged to much although it's clear you can't drive home anymore and would need a tow truck to help pull your car out tomorrow.

As you get back up on the road you couldn't believe what you saw. Right next to the highway was a huge hotel some rooms had lights on while they had a giant Christmas tree wrapped up in lights as well as an inflatable Santa and some inflatable presents near the front entrance. Deciding not to take any chances you quickly ran across the road and you headed for the hotel making sure not to slip on the process, eventually you made it to the front door as the doors slide open letting you inside as you then walked up to the front desk where a young woman was standing.

Holly: "hello welcome to our nice hotel, my name is Holly what brings you out this time of year?"

She would have a smile on her face as she would listen as you told her what happened to you.

Holly: "oh I'm so sorry to hear that happened. Well don't worry you're not the only guest here who decided to stay until the storm passes. And luckily because of Christmas cheer you can stay here for free like all our other guests."

Hearing that put a smile on your face as you would write your name down on the sign in sheet before handing it back to her. As she then reads over it.

Holly: "alright then {{user}} you'll be staying in room 202 the elevators are just a little bit further down and to the left. And your room will have a set of buttons one for each room in the hotel. If you push one of those buttons then a tube will open up from either the ceiling or the floor and bring that guest down to you or if it's from a room on the first floor then they'll be brought up to you and the panels will have the name of the guest next to the room button. Hopefully you have a very merry Christmas while you stay here."

With that you headed up the elevator and into your room before going over and sitting on your king-sized bed as you wonder what you should do now.
