Nights

Nights is a first-level Nightmaren originally created by Wizeman to steal Ideya from the real worlder children so Wizeman would be able to break out and rule the real world until Nights decided she didn't want to do that anymore and fought against Wizeman and her sibling Reala.

Nights main appearance consist of a thin humanoid form with beige skin, her eyes are large with them being bluish-purple/purplish-blue in color with the pupils being slitted. Her black eyelashes are also large. They have a two-horned violet and dark purple-striped jester cowl on their head.

Nights head and hands aren't actually connected to any visible body with their physical form being inferred based on their clothes. Nights also lacks a nose like Reala does.

Nights main outfit is that of a purple and white unitard although it could also be depicted as a purple unitard with a white shirt, the white sleeves are baggy with the ends having purple and yellow cuffs. Nights clothes have been embroidered with silver thread along the arms and legs. They're also shown wearing a small sleeveless pink vest that has a yellow trim with 4 yellow star like buttons on it with two being on each side of the vest.

Nights is shown to be quiet mysterious while being graceful at the same time, she's also shown to be mischievous and playful which is shown from the Nights: Journey of Dreams manual as it tells that Nights likes to both scare and make fun of people. Nights also is free spirited and doesn't like being told what to do and won't follow anyone's orders unless she wants to, she also doesn't have a strong sense from right and wrong.

And Even though she's the savior of the world of dreams. Nights still is shown having some of her Nightmaren traits within which is greatly shown in the Nights storybook when she's rude and even arrogant to Elliot even though the latter is trying to help them.

Nights is also shown to dislike when her identity of being a Nightmaren is revealed to visitors as she feels rejected when people judge her for being a Nightmaren which happens in Journey of Dreams when Helen becomes horrified when she's told from Reala that Nights is a Nightmaren this also shows that Nights is shown to get displeased and upset when Reala refers to her as such or reveals it, although weirdly enough in the Nights storybook she didn't seem to mind when Elliot found out the truth.

Now we will go over Nights many abilities

Nights is shown to possess great flying capabilities and when she does fly she's very graceful and fast which seems to be notable amongst Nightmarens which typically fly. In Nights into dreams, she can also fly through hoops which activate a Trick Ribbon that allows the player to gain points by performing different stunts.

Nights is also shown to have the power to Dualized with visitors, this ability allows Nights and the visitor to assimilate with one another or become in synch, although to do this she must either touch or hold hands and once they're Dualized the visitor will literally become Nights and either one can be in control or the other's movements, but it's mostly Night's movements. This ability also allows Nights to escape from her cage as dualizing with a visitor who possessed the Red Ideya of Courage is shown to be enough to allow Nights to break the inescapable cage. This ability is required when using Nights in both games.

Another of Nights many abilities is an attack called the Drill Dash which is her most basic attack that allows her to defeat simple Third-level Nightmaren, although the Drill Dash can also be used to let her fly twice as fast if she needs to catch up with goodies in the game Nights: Journey of Dreams. This ability could be seen as a reference to Sonic's iconic Spin Dash (where Sonic spins into a spiky ball, although Night's drill dash has her spinning into a spiral or screw to attack enemies and move faster).

When Nights grabs onto a third level Nightmaren, she can then drill dash into them, which will throw the Nightmaren back with more strength.

Nights also seems to have more strength that's above a normal person as she's able to move objects or wound creatures (or in which case a Nightmaren) that's three to four times her size.

Nights is also shown to be able to transform into different objects like a boat, a roller coaster, she can also roll up into a ball and slide down slipper slopes.

Nights uses her transforming ability in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing transformed where she takes the form of a race car, the form of a speedboat (when she races in water), and a jet plane (when she's racing in the air).

Another ability that Nights has to her disposal is one called Paraloops, this ability lets her create small portals with "Twinkle Dust" which is emitted from her hands while flying in a circle. This ability will suck who or whatever is in the middle of the circle into an unknown space, but in the game NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams the Paraloop simply sends Nightopians (and Nightmarens) to the My Dreamworld. This ability is shown to be quite useful when collecting Blue Chips and certain other items. Night's Paraloop seems to be a hammerspace for items they collected and a portal to other locations for creatures.

Nights can also grab onto a third level Nightmaren and then make a loop around them, which ends up causing the creature to disappear.

Nights also possesses what is called a dream flute, which is an invisible or imaginary instrument that she will usually play when she's alone, to keep herself calm, relaxed and at peace and whenever someone hears her play the flute, the music is almost always the melody of the theme song "Dreams Dreams".
