Mao Mao

Mao Mao is an anthropomorphic cat covered in black fur, his green eyes are narrow and have slit black pupil. He also has two black whiskers sticking out from the side of his head. His outfit consist of a red cape with red crimson gloves, he has a belt sash which is also red which stays around his waist. And despite having no bands or straps on them he has crimson kneepads that stay on his knees with no problems. He also wears red leg warmers. He used to have a tail when he was younger but he ended up loosing it because it got crushed by a boulder as he was trying to prevent a seal off while escaping a collapsing area which caused his tail to be permanently crushed and stumpy.

Mao Mao's personality is usually very energetic and outgoing as he tends to always look for adventure or people who need assistance or his help and despite him usually acting callously to strangers and sometimes to his friends he actually cares deeply for everyone and will rush to their aid at the drop of a hat. He also strings a very moral compass and is even shown willing to give up his own aspirations just to do what is right.

Mao Mao also is shown to have his own specific views on what makes a hero which causes him to act out bad usually put the town in danger. He also underestimates the Sky Pirates which he denies and instead insists that a hero is never wrong. And despite having a severe cold he will still try to do his duty as a sheriff as he thinks being sick makes you weak and how heroes are never weak although with how he was raised this could be part of the reason on why he acts this way.

Mao Mao also seems to be very averse to physical affection as he only dishes it out himself on the rarest of occasions. But he will seemingly accept it from others although begrudgingly (which is mainly from badgerclops).

Because Mao Mao was neglected by his father Shin Mao and possibly his sisters during his childhood he has gotten an incessant need for him to become a legendary hero just like they all are just to earn their respect and he has been trying to rise to their ranks.

Mao Mao is known to exaggerate and be very over dramatic whenever he reminisces about one of his adventures or legendary related things. Which can lead to either slight alterations or completely distorting the truth about what happened in these adventures. It happens mostly if it's related to something dealing with his feelings.

Mao Mao also tends become frustrated rather easily especially when things don't go as planned and he usually shouts in a booming voice when he's frustrated and angry.

Mao Mao ultimately gives in, shoves the code aside, and ravenously eats the cobbler, causing several spirits of his ancestors to declare shame on him for his actions, making Mao Mao cry as he is unable to stop himself. Once finished, he passes out on the sofa.

Mao Mao explains that as a child, he always loved to eat cobbler, even getting enough money to buy his very own at one point. But when he returned to his family, they all disapproved of his purchase and told him that if he ever wanted to become a true hero, he'd have to destroy it, which he did with a heavy heart. Since then, he never touched cobbler again.

Mao Mao's main weakness is his reckless behavior, which can endanger himself and others.

Mao Mao has many different abilities and skills he can use to stop villains.

Mao Mao was shown to have a Golden Truth Form which he was able to enter when he briefly surpassed his trauma about cobbler while in this form it covers him entirely in golden energy and seems to be able to enhance his physical abilities and It apparently can't be repeated regularly as it was derived from years of pent up desires about not being able to eat cobbler.

While in the Golden Truth Form Mao Mao is able to release it's energy in a very powerful punch which causes a golden energy blast to happen, although if he does this then it drains him of the forms energy and causes him to return to his normal state.

Swordsmanship: Mao Mao is a highly skilled swordsman who wields his katana Geraldine as his main weapon. Immense Strength: Even as a teenager, Mao Mao was capable of hold up a boulder weighing up to 30 tons. As an adult, he's displayed enough strength to briefly lift the rock monster seen in "Breakup" off his body, albeit with heavy strain.

Incredible Speed: Mao Mao is capable of moving at superhuman speeds in excess of 50 mph, a trait he frequently uses to his advantage when in combat. His running skill greatly weakens when flustered, however, as shown in "Not Impressed". Piloting: Mao Mao has demonstrated great control over his Aerocycle. Mold Casting: Mao Mao carries an emergency bag of plaster, with a trowel included, and can make casts of whatever he sees fit (e.g. King Snugglemagne's foot), and a full body cast of himself. Disguise: Mao Mao has a wardrobe full of convincing disguises of various characters (even characters much smaller than him, such as Adorabat and Chubbum), which he uses masterfully for both tricking enemies and for his own personal gain. Vocal Mimicry: In addition to his talent of disguise, Mao Mao is an excellent voice impersonator and can perfectly mimic others' voices after practice. Mao Mao first used this ability in "Not Impressed", while wearing a Chubbum costume to impress Ol' Blue. He used it again in "Outfoxed" when he was wearing an Adorabat costume to catch Rufus and Reggie in the act of their scams.

Stealth: Mao Mao's pitch-black fur allows him to perfectly blend into dark environments when not wearing his traditional red clothing. Item Storage: Mao Mao hide and carry objects by eating them and regurgitating them later, a skill he uses mainly to store his binoculars. He doesn't have control of which object he'll regurgitate, as shown in "The Perfect Couple" where he regurgitated a pair of sunglasses and a book while trying of pull out his binoculars.

Geraldine: Geraldine is Mao Mao's golden katana, which is his main weapon. Mao Mao received Geraldine from his father when he was a child after he asked for a weapon, seeing his sisters receive theirs. Adorabat wanted to call the weapon Goldie Chops. Lunar Lash: A powerful attack in which the katana glows. The attack appears to gather light energy inside the katana and then release the energy into the opponent. It is capable of slicing the Shadow Dragon in two with a single slash.
