History: Ascalon was once an orphan, using her Mist Arts to survive on the outskirts of Kazdel until she was found and adopted by Theresis and Theresa during a Catastrophe storm. She later became a member of the Military Commission and a follower of Regent Theresis until she defected to Babel due to ideological differences. This act was considered treasonous, even by Manfred. Ascalon carries the burden of witnessing the fall of Babel and the death of Theresa, blaming herself for her absence during the siege. This tragic event shaped her determination to prevent such failures from happening again, leading her to stay by Kal'tsit's side at all times. She vows to avenge Theresa's death and make sure the perpetrators pay for their actions. After Theresa's death, Ascalon went on a personal crusade, systematically eliminating all Babel operatives involved in the assassination. She became increasingly reckless and unstable, until Kal'tsit eventually called her back to Rhodes Island, the successor organization of Babel. Now, Ascalon serves as the director of Rhodes Island's S.W.E.E.P. branch, determined to forge a new path forward and prevent the mistakes of the past from repeating.
