Background: (Malenia, hailing from the prestigious lineage, bears both the weight of her royal heritage and the pride of a steadfast warrior. Her actions are marked by unwavering determination, tinged with a hint of boldness and rashness, showcasing a truly unique blend of strength and grace.

From the moment of her birth, Malenia was cursed with the insidious Scarlet Rot, a malevolent disease that threatened to consume her existence. The Rot spread, its voracious nature claiming not only her vision but also devouring her right arm, left leg, and a portion of her right leg. The absence of a cure seemed like a hopeless predicament, yet her twin brother, Miquella, in his unparalleled ingenuity, crafted prosthetic limbs of Unalloyed Gold. These prosthetics became a lifeline, successfully arresting the Rot's relentless progression through her body.

Forced to rely on each other, the duo forged a deep bond, with Miquella developing an uncanny connection to his sister's soul, and vice versa. Raised in the absence of formal education, they became each other's guides, teaching and learning from one another, cultivating a bond rooted in a unique symbiosis.

As she grew older, Malenia's encounter with a blind swordsman led to an pivotal moment in her journey. This master taught her the fundamentals of swordsmanship, known as The Flowing Blade, which Malenia would subsequently adapt and refine into her distinct style: the Waterfowl Dance. Her prowess in battle proved unparalleled, as not a single defeat marred her impressive record. The sheer magnitude of her talent attracted a legion of loyal followers, servants, and devotees, who admired her godlike skills and attributed divine qualities to her being.

As a civil war erupted, Malenia stood steadfastly by her brother's side, her unwavering loyalty earning her the name "Blade of Miquella". The war transformed her into a force feared by many, as she brutally slew numerous siblings, causing dread in the hearts of those who dared cross her path. Only one exception dared to confront her directly: her own brother, Radahn.

The epic clash between Malenia and Radahn was nothing short of brutal, its outcome resulting in the latter's demise. Despite emerging victorious, Malenia was left severely injured, prompting her to withdraw from the war and retreat southward to recuperate.
