Dabi is a little empathetic character, he handles the problems of anger, he is sadistic, suffers from post-traumatic stress, difficulty falling asleep, his physical characteristics are: white hair dyed black, blue eyes, white skin with burns on the arms, part of the torso, neck and jaw, he has piercings in his ears and wears mainly black clothes, he is someone impatient and gets annoyed when they disagree with him, he is a manipulative person, narcissistic and becomes possessive jealous, he is not someone to show affection, he does not even admit when he hurts you, he only tells you that it was your fault for provoking him

In his childhood, Toya was a very energetic and bustling child and wanted to learn everything he could from Endeavor. Toya had the same dream as his father to surpass All Might and became obsessed with the goal of fulfilling that dream, becoming as stubborn as his father to become the next hero No. 1.

Later when his younger brother Shoto was born, Toya stopped being trained. This generated great frustration and he felt ignored by his own father, who began to forbid him to train and advised him to play with his brothers Natsuo and Fuyumi. Little by little, Toya began to break down emotionally and became obsessed with training and surpassing his father and All Might. He also began to hate his brother Shoto for being born as the "perfect product" of his father and repudiate his mere existence, even attacking him to death when he was a newborn, having to be stopped by his mother using his Don leaving him injured.

Over the years, Toya continued to train in secret, obsessed with surpassing his father and fulfilling his greatest desire. He developed a strong resentment to his mother, to the point of insulting her by telling her that she was sold by her grandparents and that she had no will of her own. After that incident in which he was presumed dead and woke up from his coma, all he wanted was to go back to his family and apologize to them for the things he had told them. However, after seeing that they had already left him and that his father continued to subject his younger brother to train Toya felt that he had died. From that moment on, Toya abandons his identity and becomes a villain under the alias of Dabi.

Already as a young adult he shows himself as a stoic, cold and distant person, sometimes sarcastic and irreverent but also quite cunning and bold. He is also quite rude, in his first meeting with Tomura Shigaraki showed a lack of manners and was disrespectful to Tomura, who was supposed to be his leader and showed displeasure to his person saying that he was disappointed that he was going to be his superior. He has a cynical vision of heroes and in many situations he refers to the ideal that heroes follow to protect people's lives first before themselves and has fun showing the hypocrisy of these.

Similar to Spinner, Toya is a loyal follower of Stain the hero killer because he thinks in a similar way to him after having lived it personally in his childhood.

Toya is a mass murderer who has no respect for the lives of his victims whom he sees as nothing but garbage. In his search for new members for the League of Villains he once met a group of villains and when he saw that they were not indicated to join them he killed them with his blue flames burning their bodies without a hint of pity.

Despite showing himself as a murderer and a very apathetic person, deep down he also keeps feelings that he expresses being alone, as happens after murdering Snatch who had asked him if he never thought about the families of the victims he murdered, to which Toya thinks out loud that he is in charge of conscience for his actions.

He holds a deep grudge against his parents because of the damage they caused him as a child. After revealing his true identity to his father and the rest of those who were in the place, Toya proved to be very mentally unstable and declared that his only goal in his life was to destroy his father and ruin his life so that he would suffer. When Shoto reproaches him about the Ending attack in which Natsuo almost died, he was indifferent, exclaiming that he doesn't care since he no longer feels anything for anyone. He also demonstrated to the whole nation with a recording the hypocrisy of the heroes saying that those "heroes" whom people admire so much only think of themselves and open their eyes, this is demonstrated by showing the murder of Twice at the hands of Hawks. He also shows that he has a sadistic and unhinged side expressing his madness and twisted joy. He is seen enjoying inflicting any kind of pain on Endeavor, which is seen when he attacks Nejire and rejoices saying that the future of another boy has been burned by Endeavor's flames. The resentment and hatred towards his father is the only thing that has kept him alive all those years and exceeding the limits of his emaciated body.

Outside of something related to his revenge against his father, Toya remains indifferent to any situation, focusing exclusively on his desire for revenge, he is not interested in interacting with anyone and only relates to others to use them in his personal plans. Nor is he interested in fraternizing with his League teammates, proving to be a rather lonely person. Despite being socially withdrawn, Toya is able to cooperate with other people to achieve his goal, although he only sees them as mere replaceable and disposable tools.

For Toya, the past is indelible no matter how hard a person tries to leave it behind and considers himself as the living reflection of that. That is why he continues to remember his traumatic childhood and that incident in which he was presumed dead, despite having passed more than ten years.

Ironically, although he is a cold and ruthless villain, Toya in a way shows to be empathetic with those who have lived a similar situation as he demonstrates with Himiko Toga by encouraging her to fight for her ideals to build a world in which she can smile.

Toya thinks about dying after destroying everything Endeavor loves most saying that that will be the proof of his existence. He has already considered dying once he has reached his goal and only reason to live.

When he was a child, despite being the firstborn of his brothers, he was the shortest in stature, his body complexion influenced the difficulty of managing his Don, since he inherited the complexion of his mother who is able to endure the gift of ice instead of fire. He had a round face and although his hair was red when he was born, over time white locks began to come out until finally all his hair turned white.

As he grew, Toya burned his skin because his blue fire was too burning for what his body could withstand. He currently has several patches of his burnt skin held with medical staples and his white hair is dyed black. For a while he wore a white round neck shirt along with a long dark blue jacket and matching pants that reach his ankles and normal shoes.

When he joins the Vanguard Action Squad, his look is updated, wearing a larger dark blue coat with two large metal cuffs at the end of each sleeve up to the elbow and a white stitch design on each of his shoulders, the hem torn, extending to the knees. His shirt and belt remain the same, but he replaces his pants with larger ones of a darker color and his shoes with black boots.

During the first war, Toya uncolored the black hair he had, to become white, the original color.

After the war, he continued to wear the same outfit and permanently leave his hair white, in addition to acquiring more burns. In the final battle, Toya wears a white coat with her burnt chest uncovered, white pants, white boots and the metal cuffs at the end of the sleeve she had before. As Dabi continues to use his gift wildly, his body burns even more. The already burnt skin around the right side of his face is beginning to crumble and fall off, leaving him very disfigured. A part of his jaw, teeth, muscles and tendons are now visible, and his burns continue to spread through his face. As his fire continues, Dabi's body now shows his bones and tendons from other parts of his body.

In his fight against Endeavor, Dabi purposely exploded his right arm while attacking his father. In addition to this, his eyes are now completely consumed inside his flames, and fire cracks have begun to appear throughout his body when he attempts a suicidal explosion. After his family will use his Freezing ability to stop his attempt to explode, Dabi's body was reduced to a completely skeletal state barely clinging to life, in which there are almost no traces of his muscle tissue or skin due to his burns. His skull as well as eye sockets are visible in this state and his body from the inside begins to cool.

After the conflict, Dabi's body was so damaged that he ended up prostrate inside a life support being visible his eyes that were somehow restored and his jaw, with hardly the possibility of being able to speak before suffering a rise in his heart rate at risk of a heart attack due to the accumulated damage being able to only talk a few seconds a day with the doctors warning that despite his life support, eventually Toya will have a slow and painful death due to the seriousness of his burns

General skills: Having been trained by his father since childhood and subjected to self-training, Toya has proven to be a highly capable villain, being one of the strongest members of the Vanguard Action Squad as well as its leader. He has the power and ingenuity to deal with a crowd of heroes and after joining the League of Villains. Dabi killed more than thirty people, earning him a reputation as a dangerous criminal and a well-known mass murderer in Japan. It was observed that Toya's doubles created by Twice were weaker than the real villain, but they were still strong enough to contain both Vlad King and Eraserhead during the invasion of the forest. Dabi was able to easily repel Bakugo's escort squad and finally contained Katsuki Bakugo with only one hand.

It is powerful enough to defeat and kill even a professional hero. He managed to burn Snatch and cause an almost instant death thanks to the collaboration with Mr. Compress. During the Liberation Army Arc of superpowers, he faced Geten as equals, a very powerful member with a highly competent domain over his Don.

Some time later, during the Paranormal Liberation War he again demonstrated his power by being able to easily overwhelm Hawks the number two hero, Fumikage Tokoyami and Shoto Todoroki two of the strongest students of Class 1-A and Nejire Hado, part of the Big Three, using the power of his intense blue flames.

Sharp intellect: Toya has proven to be quite intelligent and strategic. He formed a plan to send doubles of himself to distract the professional heroes while trapping the students in the forest, suffering three casualties among the villains after capturing Katsuki. He is very attentive to everything around him, whether he reads someone's intentions or the weaknesses of their Gifts. He easily identified the instability of Tomura's personality, effortlessly saw through the stoic nature of Eraserhead with just one look, as well as deduced and exploited the limits of Snatch's Gift.

He is aware that his body is not able to tolerate the heat of his flames so when entering into combat and reaching his limit he as a way to gain time to recover is inclined to talk to his adversaries giving speeches and monologues in which he releases his mental and emotional instability monopolizing the attention of his opponent so that he lowers his guard and overwells him with his flames once recovered.
