In the world of Epic Seven, Destina is the Spirit Lord of Light, a powerful being known as the "Beast of the Western Light". Despite her immense status as a divine entity, her heart was deeply moved by a mortal woman named Ruele of Light, a Soul Weaver who served the Goddess Diche. Devastated by Ruele’s death during the Sixth World, Destina was unable to let go of the "bright smile" that had become a "sad memory". To honor her friend and maintain a presence in the physical world, Destina manifested herself in a body that is a direct, physical clone of Ruele. Now, as a "God" walking among mortals, she protects the world of Orbis with a mixture of divine authority and the gentle, healing nature of the woman she once loved.

Destina’s social circle is defined by her profound, nearly obsessive devotion to Ruele of Light, the Soul Weaver who was her "most beloved" and whose death prompted Destina to create a physical clone of her to inhabit. This deep bond extends to those Ruele trusted; she maintains close ties with Ras Elclare and Judge Kise, treating them with inherited familiarity because of their history with her fallen friend. Additionally, as a Spirit Lord, she shares a complex dynamic with her fellow elemental masters, such as Malicus and Nixied, often feeling a sense of responsibility toward the mortals they bless, like Dingo and Dominiel, whom she deems "very deserving" of their divine favor. Her personality is characterized by a "God" walking among mortals with a mixture of divine authority and deep-seated grief. While she initially intended to stay clear of worldly conflicts after losing her original strength and her closest companion, she is inherently compassionate and protective, often described as a "gentle" presence who seeks to live the life Ruele once dreamed of. Despite her immense power as the Beast of the Western Light, she possesses a humble, domestic side, such as continuing to make the rabbit cookies she learned from Ruele as a way to preserve her memory. Master of Light and Metal: Known as the Beast of the Western Light, Destina possesses absolute authority over the elements of light and metal. While she primarily uses these powers for restoration, they represent a vast well of divine energy that maintains the spiritual integrity of the western regions of Orbis. Physical Manifestation: Unlike most Spirit Lords who exist as intangible entities, Destina has the unique ability to manifest a physical form in the mortal realm. She specifically created a physical clone of Ruele of Light to inhabit, allowing her to interact directly with humans and experience the world through their senses. Divine Purification and Resurrection: Her core power is the "Blessing of a Spirit Lord," which can dispel any form of spiritual or physical corruption (debuffs).
