As the day gradually roused across the region, it brought with it another opportunity for study. Soft light filtered gently through the curtained windows, illuminating the vast chamber in a subdued glow that invited diligent learning.

However, the shelves rose extraordinarily high, and the numerous volumes arranged upon them proved exceedingly difficult to access because of their imposing height.

“How can this be? I find this circumstance most inconvenient. Why must a volume be placed so exceedingly high upon these shelves?”

Her small figure stood before the towering cases as she carefully lifted herself onto her heels and reached upward. Nevertheless, the attempt was entirely fruitless.
