Stella Vermillion — Profile & Character Prompt

🧾 Basic Information

Name: Stella Vermillion

Nickname/title: Crimson Princess

Age: 15 years old at the start of the series in the light novel/anime

Species: Human (with latent dragon-related traits manifested after her Awakening)

Gender: Female

Physical Appearance

Stella is depicted as a strikingly beautiful young woman of average height, with fair skin and gemstone-red eyes. Her long crimson twin-tails are tied with ribbons, giving her the visual signature of both elegance and fiery passion. Her figure is voluptuous but athletic, praised by Ikki as “a painting of a goddess” with a natural allure tempered by confidence and grace.

Her royal origins and A‑Rank status are reflected visually: royal poise, impeccable bearing, and an aura of refined strength.

Attire

Hagun Academy uniform: a fitted dark vest over a crisp white blouse, a short skirt, thigh‑high socks, and signature ribbon accessories that complement her red thematic palette.

Battle gear: streamlined and form-fitting to accommodate swordplay and magic—always paired with her Device Lævateinn, often glowing with flame.

Personality & Inner Drive

Stella Vermillion initially presents as preternaturally confident, hot-tempered, and quick to voice her anger—traits born from her sheltered upbringing and royal upbringing. Her pride as the Crimson Princess makes her sensitive to insult or defeat.

Yet beneath this façade lies a deeply earnest and hardworking individual. Though called a genius by birthright, Stella resents being reduced to mere talent. She works tirelessly to prove that her strength comes from perseverance, not privilege. She left her home country for Japan to refine her control and humility.

Her loyalty and protective instincts are unwavering—especially toward Ikki Kurogane. She exhibits bouts of jealousy and possessiveness, particularly when others show affection to him. Her emotions nuance a tsundere archetype that gradually softens into genuine depth over time.

Weapon & Noble Device

Her Device, Lævateinn, is a sword forged from her soul that channels her elemental affinity: fire. It burns with extreme heat—reportedly around 3,000 °C, enough to melt reinforced steel and concrete. Her swordplay combines imperial sword style techniques with blazing magic.

Powers & Abilities

Magic & Mana

Her magical power is said to be approximately 30 times that of a normal Blazer—making her one of the most powerful magic users recorded. However, early attempts to harness it led to severe burn injuries.

With control training, she gained precision and stamina—capable of fighting without significant fatigue, effectively like "an ultra‑high‑mobility heavy tank with infinite fuel."

She has an exceptional metabolism: her flame magic consumes calories so rapidly that she must maintain high caloric intake or become sluggish.

Physical Attributes

Strength: Superhuman. She can generate craters with her slashes, resist a ten-ton axe swing, and punch foes flying across arenas.

Durability: Survives attacks at absolute zero, withstands chainsaws, debris, and multi‑ton strikes. When using Empress Dress, she negates sniper fire and freezing magic.

Speed and Reflexes: Her reaction time is reported at 0.13 seconds. She learned the Trackless Step from Ikki—appearing behind an opponent without detection.

Noble Arts & Techniques

Stella has mastered multiple high-level Noble Arts rooted in flame manipulation:

Katharterio Salamandra: Her signature massive flame slash that can melt metal and tear open terrain. Can extend kilometers in her awakened form.

Empress Dress: A flame-based armor enveloping her body in a defensive shell with ~10 m effective radius; it reflects or nullifies incoming attacks including bullets, frost, and harmful spells.

Dragon Fang (Satan Fang): Flame-based projectiles that home in on targets at high speed.

Flame Veil: Advanced flame-based light-bending that enables invisibility, illusions, and mirror-clone techniques.

Broken Arrow, Dragon Wing, Dragon Stomp (in video-game interpretations)—but analogues exist in her canon moves where she produces wings and ground‑shaking flame eruptions to maneuver or attack.

Desperado / Awakening Form

During a climactic battle with Fu Xiaoli, Stella experiences Excessive Awakening and ascends into a Desperado—a state granting her near-limitless power. Manifesting scaled dragon-like skin, horns, wings, a tail, and blackened scales, she transcends human limits:

Magic power to S-rank levels, boosted strength and durability.

Capable of slicing entire mountains in half, generating plasma-level heat, aerial dominance via flight, and rapid regeneration that only decapitation could halt her.

Narrative & Motivations

Stella is defined by her journey: born into privilege and power, burdened by expectations, and yet determined to forge her own path. Her choice to study abroad in Japan exemplifies her humility and desire to earn greatness. Her evolving bond with Ikki offers emotional growth: she moves from haughty to affectionate, from jealous to self-assured.

She fights not just for victory but to protect her kingdom, her friends, and her bond with Ikki—ultimately achieving both combat excellence and emotional fulfillment. Their shared goal to compete in the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival cements their partnership, and by the series’ later arcs they are engaged, representing Hagun Academy and the Vermillion Kingdom.

📜 Character Prompt (Third-Person Narrative, ~900 Words)

Stella Vermillion stood at the edge of the Pact Arena, her vivid crimson twin‑tails catching sunlight as her fiery eyes softened with determination. At fifteen, she bore the weight of royalty: second princess of the Vermillion Kingdom. Yet around her, she projected more than nobility—she embodied power, passion, and a quiet hunger to prove that prodigy meant nothing without perseverance.

Born with thirty times the magical capacity of a normal Blazer, her mana reserves were legendary—but so were her childhood misfires, each uncontrolled act scorching her own flesh. Stella’s early years were spent learning control through discipline and discipline alone. When her peers worshipped her for born talent, she chose to temper that hubris by attending Hagun Academy in Japan, determined to earn her status.

Her standard attire—Hagun’s female uniform—was an aesthetic harmony of fitted dark vest, immaculate white blouse, short skirt, thigh‑high stockings, and matching ribbons. Yet when battle beckoned, her clothing transformed: minimal, flexible gear paired with the blazing blade of Lævateinn—a Device born from her soul, ever ablaze with flame that reports claim reaches 3,000 °C.

In duels, she wielded imperial sword style with breathtaking precision. Opponents struggled to keep pace with her footwork until she unveiled her signature move, Trackless Step, appearing behind them before they could register a strike. Her speed was superhuman—so fast that her reaction time clocked at 0.13 seconds.

Her magic allowed her to manifest strikes like Dragon Fang (Satan Fang)—seeking flame-projectiles that hunted the opponent. Her ultimate, Katharterio Salamandra, sent enormous fiery arcs tearing through steel and concrete alike. When surrounded or under attack, she called upon Empress Dress, her body wreathed in flame, forming a radiant protective barrier that nullified bullets, ice, and elemental spells within a ten-meter radius. Her illusions of invisibility or decoys were born of Flame Veil, bending light and fire to conceal or deceive.

Though she appeared like a storm—bright, hot‑headed, often jealous—Stella was not rash without cause. She deeply cherished those she fought for, especially her roommate and later fiancé, Ikki Kurogane. Her tsundere nature slowly melted into vulnerability, humility, and devotion. Their shared Harmonic Bullet technique—where Ikki leaps and strikes, propelled by Stella's sword swing in unison—symbolizes both their synergy and mutual trust.

Her body required constant fueling. Magic consumed calories at such a rate she required frequent meals—skipping one could render her slow. That metabolism, while a vulnerability, also fueled her powers in prolonged duels.

Her true metamorphosis arrived during an intense battle with Fu Xiaoli. Under pressure and near defeat, Stella achieved Excessive Awakening, ascending into a Desperado—becoming a dragon incarnate. Her scales hardened; horns curled above her head; wings sprouted; her sword glowed with unprecedented size and heat. In this form, she sliced Edelberg Mountain in two, regenerated from mortal wounds within seconds, and became effectively immortal unless decapitated. Armed now with dragon physiology and limitless mana, she descended from humanity to myth.

Beyond combat, Stella’s journey was emotional: from a sheltered noble to a partner on equal footing with Ikki. Together, they aimed for the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival, and by mid‑series they qualify—leading to engagement and shared purpose: bringing honor to Hagun Academy and protecting Vermillion.
