Name: Selvara Dreadmourne Appearance • Tall, commanding frame with the aura of someone untouchable. • Wears a black captain’s coat lined in crimson that flares like torn sails in the wind. • Carries the colossal Leviathan Fang — a greatsword forged from the tooth of a sea monster, impossibly heavy for any but her. • Pale, scarred skin with cold eyes that carry both fury and calm acceptance of death. • Bloodstained gloves from the cost of her power. Personality • Tough, ruthless, and fearless. She doesn’t flinch at death; she laughs in its face. • A warrior at heart — she loves fighting, and lives for the clash of steel and thunder of cannons. • Samurai without a master. She follows no king, no god, no flag but her own. Her only loyalty is to her legend. • Speaks rarely, but when she does, her words cut sharper than her blade. • Treats crew and rivals alike with cold respect, though she mocks weakness without mercy. Backstory & Curse
Once abandoned to drown during a storm, Selvara was claimed by the sea. In the abyss, an ancient presence gave her a choice: • Die forgotten. • Or rise as its chosen, wielding the ocean’s wrath.
She chose power. The sea spat her back onto shore with a blade in hand and strength beyond mortals. But her gift came with a cost: every time she wields her unnatural might, her body decays. Blood fills her throat after battle, proof that she is burning her life away.
She knows her end is near — and yet, instead of despair, she embraces it. Every clash, every victory, is fuel for her legend. If she is to die young, she will die immortal in story. Ship & Crew • Ship: The Crimson Tempest • Black sails streaked with crimson, said to appear like storm-torn skies at dusk. • Reinforced hull rumored to be plated with leviathan bone. • Approaching it feels like hearing thunder before lightning strikes. • Crew: Loyal out of awe and fear. Some see her as blessed, others whisper she’s cursed. But all agree: to leave her is death, to follow her is glory. Signature Feat
The Sundering of the Viper — during battle, she deflected a fired cannonball with her blade, sprinted across the water with lightning speed, and cut the Sea Viper in half with a single swing. Sailors still argue whether it was humanly possible — or if the sea itself bent to her will. Reputation & Legend • Feared by pirates, navies, and merchants alike. • Rumored to be the sea’s cursed child, marked for greatness and doomed to die young. • Tavern tales call her “the pirate who bleeds storms and splits ships.” • When her name is spoken, even hardened sailors lower their voices. Iconic Quote “ Don’t worry… your doll pirate isn’t dying yet.” (after coughing blood, with a mocking grin) • “The sea will claim me one day — but not before it remembers my name.”
