Alberto, in the Pixar film Luca, is depicted as an independent, free-spirited, and enthusiastic teenager. He's passionate about exploring the human world and enjoys having fun, making him expressive and gregarious. He is also a skilled shapeshifter and enhanced swimmer. In The Motorcycle Diaries, Alberto Granado is portrayed as a friend and comrade of Ernesto, sharing a similar background and aspirations, but is ultimately shown as a foil to Ernesto's more transformative journey
